Love it cause they don’t use too much oil in their food. And good food also. You can try it.
Family owned. Food taste just like someone one's grandparents made it. It was the best Haitian food I ever had. From a restaurant.

I had an amazing experience at Family Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors that brought me right back to the heart of Haiti. The staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel like family from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. Whether you're looking to try something new or craving a taste of home, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food and a friendly, inviting experience!

I wanted to give an objective review in hopes the restaurant will consider evaluating their customer service. I recently had their food at least 4 times during the past month as a new customer. Therefore, I absolutely LOVED their Griot, I have no complaints about the food. The only critique I have is the wait time and who seems to get served first. While it is common in the Caribbean diaspora to tend to "our own people"/ familiar faces or regulars first. Please remember it's a business and such a turn off to your new customers to be waiting endlessly even when an order was placed 15-20 mins prior to arriving. My friend who is not of Caribbean or Haitian descent is the one who goes into the restaurant to pick up our order and it's very frustrating when people realize you're not from that community & subconsciously treat someone with a bias. While they sat and waited for the order that was placed 20 mins prior AND for an additional 20 mins.. a number of people who were Haitians came to order and left with their food. AGAIN, i understand when you have an established clientele you're more likely to go above and beyond for their comfort BUT please do not treat others like their money isn't good enough. By the time they were served, my friend was upset.. rightfully so and stated they won't be returning. I had the same issue with other restaurants so we were trying out new spots but this seems to be a common trend.
I hope my review will highlight some issues you may not have been aware of and in no way was I intending to be malicious. I am still giving a high rating because the food but Customer service needs more attention.

Always good!!
We visit here often for turkey complete with extra gravey & pickles! It's always good. Pay them a visit, as they came highly recommended and is my go-to for Haitian cuisine!

Visiting South Florida. Wanted to try gryo, I walked in. No menu anywhere but I knew what I wanted. Placed order. Then lady went in back for about 10 minutes. Line built up. She came back out with a few people's food including mine. Told me 16 dollars. Never paid that much for gryo. Didn't even include rice. Didn't know price beforehand since no menu. I feel the price is made on the fly and since I was an "outsider" mine was higher. The food was good though.

When you are at Family you already see what they tell you, order, take away, eat and make yourself at home because you are with family, especially the Creole dishes.
Vegetarian options: Definitely just mention what you want to eat.
Parking: The requests are sometimes a lot because there are customers, sometimes it seems difficult to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: Certainly
Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately, I don't see this access.

Du riz I took... jus poi taste it has
The thing that kills me the most
I called to share the experience with them... the owner is happy to offer. Another dish that will definitely not be different from what I bought.
C as if he by his proposal makes him take for a hunger.
I made this post in Creole. Just so Haitian pareil I can understand without being strange
People are trying to feed people that are not restaurants
I chose the word boutique well
Because this is not Haitian food
