Fern Street Kitchen

Great menu. Inventive, creative and delicious. We had swordfish and cobia. Sides were delicious too. Outside dining is much quieter. Will definitely return.

The food was absolutely outstanding! The drink prices were a bit on the higher side, but the overall dining experience was stylish and modern. The atmosphere can get somewhat noisy due to conversations carrying throughout the space, though that seems typical for newer, trendy restaurants that lack much sound absorbing materials.

We were very excited to eat at Fern and though the food was good, unfortunately the experience fell a bit short of our expectations. We ordered the mushrooms and squash blossoms as small plates, which were wonderful, and the swordfish loin and short rib as entrees. The food was solid, but the short rib was a bit overcooked. We ordered fairly standard cocktails (a martini and an old fashioned) and the martini wasn't made well-it was very watery- and we found ourselves waiting a long time for our drinks to come out, like they weren't sure how to pace the meal. It's possible that we just had an off night, but considering the price of the dinner and other reviews, I was hoping to be wowed.

This is a great place for great food if you don't need to have a conversation with anyone. The noise level is much more than energetic. It is beyond your imagination of how loud it is. I would go back, but NEVER eat inside. So sad that really top notch food is served in such a LOUD environment.

Unreal place! Best short ribs and mashed potatoes ever! No knife needed! The service was great! Cody the GM was unreal! All around a great experience and our new favorite place by city place!

My best friend and I's first time at Fern and the experience was better than expected! The food, atmosphere, and service were beyond great. We will definitely be back, preferably for Happy Hour.

Our meal was fantastic from start to finish including appetizers and dessert. Great cocktails and our server Miso was outstanding. Charming atmosphere. Highly recommended this restaurant and look forward to coming back soon.

My favorite restaurant in West Palm. Only disappointed that I've been here for over a year and only heard of Fern a week ago. Best meal I've had in Florida and we're going again tonight! I pray they have the pork belly appetizer on tonight's menu.

Amazing dining experience. The squash blossoms and pork belly were absolutely outstanding. My wife had the pork chop and I had the swordfish, both we a perfect ten . This was without a doubt the best food in WPB.

Great food and service, but missing the promised music: The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the overall service was excellent. Our server, Brandon, was attentive and outstanding. The outdoor patio was very relaxing, though there were quite a lot of mosquitoes. We were disappointed that there was no music, as it had been advertised on the website and was one of the deciding factors in choosing this restaurant over others.

We have dined at Fern several times, each time having a fantastic dinner and lots of fun. Once again our server Isabella was fabulous and made us feel like valued customers and friends! Highly recommend this yummy restaurant!

Very disappointing. After reading all the rave reviews, I had high expectations We arrived for our 5:30 reservation to be told Happy Hour was only in the bar , but there was no room there. Nowhere does it say that online or on the outside sign. They led us to an awful table in the corner in a nearly empty dining room , saying they were very busy tonight Service was rushed. Our entrees were served before we finished our appetizers We were told they don't serve bread and yet people at the next table were eating it. The entrees were beautiful, but not tasting that great. I felt very unwelcome there and treated like a second class citizen. Perhaps because we are older and not two of the beautiful people

DO COME HERE! Unless you are okay with waiting 45 minutes for your drink. And having to cancel your entree after one hour and 10 minutes of waiting. One of the entrees came an hour after (right after I told server to cancel it all), which was a cold plate and had been sitting for a while and it was poor quality. Isabella was polite and I believe it really wasn't her fault, just poor management of the whole establishment. This is the first bad review I've left in my life, but I believe being an expensive restaurant comes with some responsibility to not be an absolute let down.

Loved everything about this place! Excellent cocktails, fabulous food, and outstanding service. First time and was so glad we tried it. Interesting, flavorful, well-presented dishes, along with friendly, attentive service, made our Monday night special. Thank you, Cody. We will be back. Looking forward to sitting on your beautiful patio next time.
