Have passed Hook Fish and Chicken on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd in West Palm Beach many times. Given the volume of traffic at this restaurant we decided to try it for ourselves. Outstanding. We ordered the Combo #16 with grouper and shrimp. Fish was fresh - fried with a light corn meal breading. Tasty and was more fish than breading. Serving was plentiful - have enough for tomorrow's lunch. Food is prepared once order is placed so it comes out hot - nothing sitting around under heat lamps. Prices given the quantity and quality of food are reasonable. Place is very clean. We were greeted by April who is a delight. Very personable, helpful and courteous. It was very clear that everyone working there enjoy their jobs and customers enjoy the food. Glad we gave it a try and will definitely return.

Once they sprinkle that powdered crack on everything, it's game over! I'm tearing everything up on that plate. The customer service is good there because of the workers. Good people, great food.

Man, listen… the food was bussin’! Fresh out the grease, seasoned just right—fish crispy, wings on point, fries hittin’. You could tell it was made fresh, not that old sitting-under-a-light mess.
But let me tell you about April tho—she the real MVP. Cool, respectful, had good energy, and made sure our whole order was straight. She ain’t have no attitude, just good vibes and handled business smooth.
Customer service was A1. Food was 🔥. April held it down. We definitely sliding back again.
