I love stopping by island root late night-early morning. My favorite Kavatender has to be Will. I feel like he’s always in a good mood(considering the hours he works that’s impressive lol). He’s honestly the main reason I stop in now as much as I do. Great kava and good vibes overall.

Overall this is a great place to hang out and bring friends I do find it a little bit expensive and habit forming so if you're not used to the stuff then don't drink it it costs a lot of money. $50 + a day is wild.

Steph is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! She makes me feel seen, heard, and brings joy to my day each time I see her. Also Jasmine is one of those genuinely nice to the core sweethearts that exudes positivity. Keep up the great work ya’ll
Definitely recommend here at nine very laid-back Will is definitely a great asset to this company amazing personality if you want someone to joke around and someone who’s knowledgeable, I definitely suggest this . I will continue to come to this bar after my late night shift of work

I was able to order one drink but once I finished my first one I waited over 15 minutes and neither one of the two bartenders asked if I would like another one there’s too busy talking to their friends service was really poor
I love this place. I live hnear w they’re open 24 hours so I always have a home to go to and Will is my favorite bartender by far. He’s so welcoming and personal, caring and funny. I come on his shifts all the time cause I know it’s gonna be a great time out.

I have never seen a more unhappy miserable person in my life. Maddy was EXTREMELY unfriendly and nasty. I will not be coming back to this establishment

Worst kava bar
Matt is an awesome kavatender—friendly, knowledgeable, and always provides great service. Whether you’re new or a regular, he makes sure you’re taken care of. He is the best!!
Staff isn’t inviting at all if you are not a regular and is very rude. Staff gave us a hard time about playing pool even when we spent the minimum amount needed. On top of this kava bar was close to empty with the pool table unoccupied. Overall every time we’ve been here we felt very unwelcome.
