Island Root Kava Bar Royal Palm

10/10 stars!! love this place. No standard café or bar can come close to matching its vibes. Best place to hang, play chess, get work done, whatever. The drinks give you a lovely buzz and the late night hours are the best! Me and my bf come here all the time. Matt is the most awesome and attentive kava server. ????

Love this spot, love all of the people that come to this spot. Come here, get a tea and chill out. Sebastian, Steph and Lexi are truly amazing and John is such a down to earth guy. He brings cookies!

- Lack of menu variety and quality
- Lack of atmosphere and lounge area
- Poor value for money

I've been frequenting this Island Root location for almost two years. Most of the things I look for in a work Cafe are easily checked off!

Walked was greater by Matt made sure we were take. Care of. The place was really nice music was interesting and Matt was open to playing any songs we requested. Very friendly service will definitely come back to this location!

Very nice place to go at night, the late night hours are always active but never crowded. Rob and Matt, the kavatenders at night are very kind and provide excellent customer service, adding to the experience. The beverages taste good and feel natural, and along with the environment help ease stress as I get extra work done after getting off of work. Very good vibes overall.

I love this place it’s open 24/7 it has amazing atmosphere and the people that just hang around here are just so friendly and kind. The bartenders are just so attentive they provide such amazing services. Especially one bartender matt stood out to me. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need! It’s never a bad day when you have him as your bartender

I have been coming here for years. For years now Rob the night time kava tender has berades customers calling them "idiots" or "stupid". He slams shells while blatantly ignoring people.
My friends and I stopped coming here in 2023 because of this guy. I was in town tonight and thought I'd get a tea to-go.
I made the mistake of asking what time the Business was open until and he tells me "the hours are on the door". Then called me stupid.
I can't believe this guy is still employed here.
Won't be back.

Everytime I stop bye to Island Root it's always such a warm and inviting experience. The staff is very knowledgeable about the product they sell.
It's always peaceful and relaxing to stop bye.

Maynard is awesome, definitely go in for happy hour and check the place out. My favorite kava bar in Royal Palm for sure.
