what are your hours? we drove 45 minutes and it wasn't open. Disappointed... Please update your hours and I'll change my review.

Choosing to have dinner here was the best choice! My husband is Trinidadian and he said the food was amazing. I concur! He had the curry chicken. I had the curry shrimp. Vidya the owner is just lovely. She cooks the food fresh to order and it is excellent. We will be going back very soon. I highly recommend Island's Roti Delight!

Yesterday, I had the curry snapper and rice. My husband had curry goat!! Absolutely the best curry on this side of the USA! Vidya, the owner, is a sweet individual and a great cook. We came back today and I had the curry snapper again. My hubby had curry chicken and curry shrimp. We loved everything!! Highly recommend to anyone craving back home food!! Simple surroundings but extraordinary food!

I’m not from FL so I came to this place last week for lunch when I was in town for a conference. I was swayed by the reviewers before me.

The owner said she didn’t have a menu, which might be a turn-off for some people, but for me, that was the moment I knew the food was meant for the locals and that it’s going to taste so good.

The place reminded me of the hole in the wall restaurants I used to frequent in NYC where you already should know coming into the restaurant what to order and they treat everyone like locals (or in this case, like family). They rib on you and it’s all in good fun. Anyway thanks to the Google reviewers and the owner who hinted at what I should get since I was so indecisive, I got the curry goat. It was SO flavorful and delicious! The homemade dip and sauce they made were perfect.

After my meal, the owner’s nephew Rodney did not hesitate for one second when I needed help finding my way to the nearest Publix. It was just such a sweet, random gesture of humanity and this place will forever remain a story I tell friends about when I talk about the lovely side of Florida. You all are real ones.

I know it’ll be another year when the conference comes around, but I will 100% be coming back to this place. And next time I’ll know exactly what to order.

V is n excellent cook! Very authentic roti and Saturday specials full of island flavor. The home made hot sauce is amazing 👏

Saturday is the best day to go

Super homey, lovely legit trinidians, Authentic food and amazing flavor!!! We have been here twice and look forward to coming several more times and we come all the way from Miami… like this place is so worth the ride. Doubles are a must and after reading others comments I need to venture more of their delights.

When we looked it up on Google maps it said they were open. We drove 30 mins to the location but they were closed. They should update their information online to avoid confusion

Made fresh!! Very hospitable!!! Offered drinks because she said it will be a wait!!!! Didn't wait long at all!!! The lady/Cook had Great conversation she was funny and real!!! Ordered as take out and even by the time we got to our final destination 20mins after we left the restaurant to sit and eat the food was still hot, fresh and sooooo delicious!!!! Absolutely recommend and will be back again!!! Thank You!!!

We happened to visit on a whim during our travels. First of all, the owners of this wonderful establishment welcomed us like family. We had curry chicken, curry chicken with pigeon peas, along with the buss-up shut roti! All the dishes were authentic and the roti was made right after we placed our order…hot, and soft…divine. We ordered extra roti and doubles to pick up for the next day. Again, everything was made to order and has the true taste of home. I highly recommend Island Roti Delight.

Had a craving for bust up roti and curry, and tried this place out. The food was made to order and DELICIOUS, not one drop of curry or side spice is left. The owner was a lovely woman and we had an entertaining conversation while she was preparing everything fresh. Amazing authentic food and genuine hospitality! Will be back!

Went in there to pick up a beef roti , and seen 5 live roaches just walking around casually when I told Wayne about it he told me to close my eyes . NEVER GO HERE . DISGUSTING GO LOOK ON THERE INSPECTION REVIEW ON
