Everything was perfect , I just wished the protein sizes was more considering the prize . That’s the only reason I gave a 4 star for the food . Thomas was amazing and he made us feel so welcomed . He was patient and personable . Can’t wait to come again !

Great experience at the City Food Hall. I ordered a Poke bowl from Joi Bowl and sushi and it was awesome. Service was pleasant and fast, and the food was delicious!
One of my favorite things about getting poke is being able to see the bowl being made so that I can specify how much of what I would like in my bowl, that experience doesn’t exist here as everything is done behind the counter in secret and when I received my bowl, I understood why. I paid specifically for three servings of salmon to get my protein in and it looked like the equivalent of one serving that that most poke places offer. Visually looked like 2 ounces.
For $25 I received a bowl of Extremely LOW quality rubbery fish and overcooked rice. Half stoned employees took triple the time to make this, we were the only customers yet they moved at a snails pace. I explicitly asked for sauce on side twice and they ignored my request and smothered it —yet somehow there was STILL zero flavor.
And to top it all off, I asked for it to go and they gave it to stay when this place was the last place I would want to eat. Atmosphere is gross, overpacked and as drab as a NYC subway.
Will never be returning
My boyfriend even took a bite and spat it out. We left to get poke somewhere else.

Disappointing. Idk if management changed but the amount of fish is pretty small, even for a poke bowl and the rice was hard and seemed old. Would give it 1 star if it wasn’t for the nice presentation. But for as expensive as it is, it’s just not worth it. I see why it was the only place no one was ordering from now.
