Extremely disappointed with the takeout service. I placed a to-go order by phone on Wednesday, February 11th around 6:00 p.m. and arrived to pick it up around 6:25 p.m. When I got there, I realized my order was incorrect. I had ordered a hand roll but was given a regular maki roll instead.
I informed the male host and was told it would take another 15 minutes to remake it. I declined and simply asked for a refund for the incorrect item. The host said he would need to take the roll back, which I agreed to.
He then spoke with Ana, who told me I could keep the roll and that she would issue store credit instead. I explained that I did not want store credit and preferred a refund to my original method of payment. Ana responded that she did not want to process another transaction in the system to issue the refund, which is why she was offering store credit. I again stated that I wanted the refund returned to my original form of payment. She eventually agreed to refund my card.
However, after initially telling me I could keep the incorrect roll, she decided to take it back once I declined the store credit, which seemed spiteful. The food went back and forth between the kitchen and the host stand multiple times before I finally left. What should have been a simple refund took about 20 minutes.
The situation felt unnecessarily complicated and poorly handled. I found Ana’s attitude to be rude and unaccommodating. I did not appreciate Ana arguing with me about a refund, given that the order was incorrect. As a customer, I did not appreciate the way the situation was managed or how I was spoken to. Very disappointing.

Expensive and not good- at all. Spicy tuna roll was like a flavorless patte. Spring rolls tasted freezer burned.
Service was bad. Overall, a no go.

Tonight I placed an order online, while tired and I made a mistake. I forgot to choose the DELIVERY option. So I called the restaurant to check the status of my order. Anna immediately said “I can deliver it, no problem!” I almost cried…it’s been a rough few days, okay. Anna, I can’t thank you enough!!! As always, the food is fantastic and the customer service is truly outstanding! Anna, you saved dinner tonight for my daughter and me!!

I normally don’t have time to write reviews, but this one is well deserved. I was feeling lazy about making dinner and wanted to try something new, but I was also pretty hesitant and cautious. I landed on Kabuki based on the website, photos, pricing, and how easy the delivery was—and I’m so glad I did.
The delivery was quick, the sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous. The sauces were excellent and really complemented everything. I was very happy with my dinner and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Third time was definitely not the charm. I ordered 3 rolls and waited 30 minutes to get my food because the waitress was talking to a couple behind me for 15 minutes non-stop. I ate one roll and sent back the other two. Skip this place!!
Update: Do yourself a favor and go to the other location if you have to have Kabuki. Its wayyyy better than this one. Never coming back!
November review:
It took 20 minutes to get my food and I ordered less than I ordered at the other restaurant. Normally it's no biggie but when you only have 4 tables and 4 chefs on a Saturday night you should be a lot faster.
Overall the presentation and taste are better at the pga location as well. Thank you.

Pretty good food but with last call they refuse to take an order up to closing hour. Pretty lame for a night-life restaurant to not allow you to order 35 minutes until posted close time. After that pressure of parking and making it with time left and not ordering this time, will never return 😒

Had a wonderful evening for family dinner while visiting the area. We were promptly seated and our server was “amazing”!! We ordered hot appetizers, sushi and Thai food. Food came out in order as we wanted it and was hot and fresh. Would definitely recommend.

Had a terrible experience at the new PubBelly across the street last night. It made me realize I needed to leave some love for the Best Sushi spot on Clematis. I have been coming here for 2 years. Never a bad experience. Food is always good. Happy hour is amazing. Get the Lava Drops! Staff are always friendly. I apologize for straying 😆.

If you’re craving delicious and affordable sushi, this is the place! It was open late for a Monday, I think I arrived around 9pm. I ordered the Tanzana, Eel, and Lobster Maki Roll; so much food for great price! The bill came down to about $30-$35. The wait staff were efficient, never had to ask for a refill or anything.
