A Truly Unforgettable Experience at KONRO
KONRO, owned and operated by Jacob and Nadia, offers a dining experience unlike any other Michelin restaurant we’ve visited. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a sense of intimacy and exclusivity, as there are only 10-12 seats, making it an incredibly private and personalized experience.
Jacob and Nadia are exceptional hosts—knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly passionate about what they do. Their attention to detail and care for each guest truly elevate the evening. Every course was nothing short of phenomenal, beautifully crafted, and perfectly paced. The wine pairings were thoughtfully selected and complemented each dish with precision.
My wife and I have enjoyed many fine dining experiences, but this surpassed them all. It was, without a doubt, the best meal and overall dining experience we’ve ever had. KONRO is a gem, and we cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking for an unparalleled culinary journey.

Absolutely incredible experience! Every dish was a work of art, bursting with flavor and creativity. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance perfectly set the stage for an unforgettable night with our family. From start to finish, it was easily the best dining experience I've ever had. Worth every star and then some! We feel so fortunate Nadia and Jacob chose WPB to share this culinary treasure. If you can get in, don't miss it—you'll be talking about it for a lifetime.

We’ve been three times, but only once at their new location. It’s outstanding in all regards. The food is incredible (of course), but so are the drink pairings. Go all in, you won’t regret it.

Everything about this was 5 stars. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the wine… everything. I hesitate to go into too much detail because I would rather if you’re a foodie like me you go and see for yourself. This entire experience was incredible. If you are reading reviews to decide.. just trust me go experience it for yourself! Absolutely wonderful! Will be going again!

Everything. This was by far an amazing foodie experience; as well as a delightful gourmet food dinner. I found Jacob and Nadia a great host and hostess. The food nothing like anything I have experienced and I have been to many food dinners and events. Well worth the extra cost. We will be back. The ambiance beautiful each course is its own........flower. l cannot find the word to express the overall evening. Thank you for your hospitality.

I can't say enough good things about Konro! This is hands down the best restaurant in Florida. The quality of their ingredients is unparalleled and the flavors in each dish are absolutely amazing. Not to mention, their wine selection is top-notch and perfectly complements every meal. The atmosphere at Konro is the most sophisticated I've ever experienced, making dining here a truly special and memorable experience. I highly recommend Konro to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Florida and possibly America.

Last week’s dinner at @konrorestaurant was truly exceptional. Having dined with Chef Jacob at his previous ventures in Chicago, I’m continually impressed by his talent. Despite my initial skepticism regarding the logistical hurdles of sourcing high-quality local ingredients here compared to the Midwest, Chef Jacob managed to create a memorable tasting menu. Several bites nearly left me speechless.
For an unforgettable culinary journey unlike any other in Florida, Konro is a must-visit destination to treat your senses.

As citizens of the world, we have dined at famed tasting menus across the globe. Konro stands alone in its brilliance.Jacob and Nadia Bickelhaupt have created a unmatched divine experience that earned our respect and admiration. The complete evening (March 13th) from beginning to end was a finely cultivated Masterpiece, delivered by two artists equal in their own right. Each course was a chapter in a sumptuously illustrated book that Jacob and Nadia narrated through word, smell, taste and touch.Jacob's, (whom I am shocked has not received his third star yet), passion for his craft and ingredients was evident to the minutest detail. After being educated on the ingredients, the history, the taste and how many bites to enjoy it in; we ended each course never wanting the chapter to end, but eagerly anticipating the next. The combination of flavors matched with the non-alcoholic pairing was clearly created by a genius. We were honored and humbled to have experienced it.Lent forbade the experience of the wine match that evening, but we were able to partake in the equal genius of Nadia's knowledge as Sommelier. The wealth, depth and breadth Nadia brought to each pairing was unmatched in any Sommelier we have encountered. I eagerly anticipate our return in order to taste the libations she so meticulously chooses.5 stars seems too few, if I could I would rate with a galaxy.Amber, Selah & Bubbie

Konro offers warm hospitality, intricate and delicious food, and excellent beverage pairings. It is on par with Michelin-level dining experiences I’ve had in the US and abroad in terms of quality, and manages to keep an authentic, welcoming atmosphere thanks to Nadia and Jacob’s hosting. I absolutely recommend a visit.

It’s been over two days and I am still digesting Konro. Not the food. The experience.I don’t think people fully comprehend what Jake Bickelhaupt is doing. I’m not sure I do either. Having dined at hundreds of Michelin restaurants around the world, including places like Plenitude in Paris, Core in London, and Smyth and Alinea in Chicago—Konro belongs in the same conversation. Should you go to any of those world-renowned restaurants, you will find a team of 20+ people working 19 hour days, 7 days a week to reach and maintain that level of excellence. At Konro, it’s Jake and Naida. That’s it.It would be the equivalent of Lebron James playing every team in the NBA solo—1 versus 5—and still making it to the championship. No matter the talent and work ethic, that’s impossible. Yet Jake is doing exactly that. Achieving the impossible. Day in and day out, every week, he is taking on the work of a 20 person team and executing with perfection at the highest level. The result is one of the best restaurants in the country. It is 3 stars by any measure, and it is only a matter of time before he takes home his trophy.I can only think of a handful of restaurants where every single dish was outstanding. At some point tastes diverge between diners. On Saturday, however, I devoured everything, and I left in goldilocks fashion—not too full, nor left wanting.Perhaps more than anything, Jake has mastered layering textures and flavors symbiotically. Each dish was unique from its neighbors on either side, but it didn’t feel like you were bouncing from one serving to the next. On a deeper level, every serving is a dish within a dish, as you draw your utensil from the top to the bottom of the food, exposing layers of texture built upon one another like sedimentary stone. And like sedimentary stone, they do not combine. They complement. That theme—layers upon layers—starts at the granular level with the ingredients, and continues to build from within the servings, to across the servings themselves, with the drink pairings binding between, until finally you’ve come to an end and you’re no longer looking at layers of rock. You’re panning out and looking at a meal as amazing as a view of the grand canyon.I won’t bother repeating other reviewers and describing specific dishes. Nonetheless, I want to address two personal apprehensions that could potentially help others.First, the A5 Wagyu. I have tried more A5 supplements than I can recall, and I am always disappointed without fail. Konro remains a singularity. Get the upgrade. You won’t regret it.Second, the Non-Alcoholic Pairing. I’m not even sober by nature, but I had an early morning flight and didn’t want a hangover. Restaurants always overcompensate these pairings with sweet, sugar filled drinks that are difficult to stomach in multiples. Konro, on the other hand, should open a completely non-alcoholic bar. I would drink their concoctions by the gallon, and am so grateful I went out of my comfort zone. Consider it even if you do drink.Aside from the food, there is also something to be said about Jake and Nadia as people. They are so patient, understanding and kind. The restaurant itself is refined, but the atmosphere they create is warm, welcoming, and approachable—just like them. They have had to go through so much to get where they are, and they deserve every bit of success that lies ahead.Thank you for such an incredible night to remember.Bless you both, and “bless your hands.”
