No l lugar es bonito la comida buena y la atención excelente pero tienen problema con la música tienen que poner un Dj que ponga buena música

Excellent food, they don't serve water at the table, we asked for it and they never brought it, a shame. I love this site.

la fonda has the best chicharrones!
however, the service was horrible!
i counted 12 of their beauties and 2 of their young men standing at the end of the bar.
i motioned several times for an order! three times the staff walked by as i called out to place an order.
i am temporarily disabled. three major surgeries this year alone. not a single one of the staff offered any assistance! not a single one!
my bill for the chicharrones came to eleven dollars and change. i still gave the server a $10 tip. only because i didn't have any five's or one dollar bills or just pocket change! if i had change- she would have been lucky if she got a quarter from me. i was taken aback when she actually asked for a tip!
not a single person on the staff offered any help!
one of their customers actually held the door for me as i exited, not the staff!
i'm pretty sure this won't get posted.
but i will say i belong to one of the largest 'unions' in america. our brotherhood and sisters support each other.

i will never go to this restaurant again!

Ok, I love this food, the environment and music are great. But the service is NOT good, the waitresses sometimes are mean, but honestly, the WORST thing there is the parking guy the restaurant has, he sometimes charges for parking (even though is free) and it’s so rude, he has zero social skills. So if you can order takeout I will suggest that. Or if you don’t mind about the service and just food, then keep going there.

The food was good, no complaints there. The service...well, I counted 5 waitresses...the place is not large...yet we had to hunt the waitress down each time we needed service. I watched my drink sit at the bar for over 20 minutes after it was made...one person in my party finally got up and got it himself...by then it was watery...The drinks...I am very choosy and only drink one brand of bourbon...what I ordered vs what was given to me were two different things. When confronted, they brought the bottle to me to show me they had the bottle...yes, that's the bottle, but what was served to me was not what ORIGINALLY came in that bottle. I know the difference. One person in my party was even a bartender...he asked to smell my drink (shot) and confirmed that it definitely was not the top shelf brand I had requested. I'm very disappointed to say the least and feel scammed. Too bad, because aside from those two things, I liked the place.

True Colombian food and hot snacks. Service was exceptional.

It is really very disappointing and unpleasant to come home and want to share a meal with the family. Oh surprise to find this snack as disgusting as it is, recycled oil reheated as if you were paying for leftovers.
Their fame has gone to their heads and our Colombian culture is falling to the ground and not to mention the attention of the staff. Women who are only dedicated to serving men who ask for a bottle of whiskey seem desperate looking for prepaid papers.
Without saying more, you can see that this business is in decline.

We tried a lot of Colombian restaurants, but my favorite is La Fonda, good portion, good quality, tasty, ? I’m always craving for their food, I love their fried calamari and fish with white sauce it’s amazing ?
