For any occasion Cakes Etc always deliver the best desserts. Their craft is unmatched, these cakes and many other desserts are very delicious. I highly recommend this establishment to cater to your sweetness

They make beautiful cakes, however they cancelled my dream birthday cake two days before my party, leaving me no time to even consider other bakeries. Very upsetting.

What happened to me should happen to anyone I order a doll to be made 2 weeks in advance when I went pick up Friday they told me they didn't make it at all the cake is due Saturday the day after pickup this is crazy unprofessional never will come back

My wedding cake was ruined by the owner Cakes Etc. Because even with 40 years of cake making experience she didn't bother to read her notes and she didn't make the cake that I paid her to make. My wedding cake had no wow factor, it was not amazing, it was not beautiful, it was not what I paid for. So unless you want to ruin your wedding cake don't use this lady she couldn't even make her own cake that she has displayed in her store. Terrible cake appeal. Horrible cake that looks like a kid did it.

I live out of state and needed a birthday cake for my mother's birthday. They took my order while I was heading to the airport LOL and were able to make my special order ganache sheet cake with only one day notice. They do not have delivery so I had to pick it up. But it was worth the trip, because the cake was DELICIOUS!!

I am generously giving one star out of obligation (since no stars is not an option). I can't speak to the quality of the cake orders but customer service is *appalling* if the owners and long time workers are not on shift. I have been regularly buying cake supplies there for 5 years, and today I was not allowed to use a long earned discount card for a paltry 10% percent off. The woman's refusal to honor what one of the owner's assured me of was extremely aggravating. Her arguing with me was even more off putting, and when I tried to tell her that the owner's husband *guaranteed* that I could turn in the two stamps he gave me on a temporary card (with an otherwise full original missing two stamps to turn in - I was presenting both) - she said "well, that's George for you." Because, you know...he helps runs the place so clearly HE has no authority. She *insisted* the policy changed (must have been 4 weeks ago?). In the end it was not worth the couple of bucks on over inflated cake supplies. I will not be devalued, lied to, or dismissed for the sake of cupcake liners and cake boards. I will also not be back. "You can use it next time," she said, wrongfully assuming I was as confused about what real customer service should be as I was with her sudden, convoluted, and frankly pathetic, rewards program. She even said she remembered me coming in from when she started two years ago, hopefully she can remember what it takes to retain clientele for sake of this business.

Everyone in my family looks forward to their birthday cake from Cakes Etc! They never fail to impress and make each person feel special regardless of what crazy idea my kids may come up with for their birthday theme! We love the personal attention to detail and of course, the delicious cake!

Favorites are the smoked herring and salt fish patties. The peanut brittles are also really tasty.

I found Cakes Etc. through a local bridal show. I tasted the cake and it was very good. I booked my wedding cake and my groom's cake through them. I was picking up my groom's cake the day before the wedding, because I was serving it at my rehearsal dinner. I would have loved to have it delivered, but they do not offer that service for groom's cakes. I was told by the owner that my cake would be ready at 3pm. I arrived at the shop at 3pm with my maid of honor, but I sat waiting until 4:15 for my cake to be finished. Needless to say, I was late to my dinner. My dinner was at The Breakers, so they did work with me, but it was horrible to start off the rehearsal late. The cake was in the shape of my groom's antique car. Once the cake was finally done and I put it in the car- the wheel fell off the cake and we had to put it back together with toothpicks. It was not good! My wedding cake was a very simple three tier cake with fresh flowers inbetween each layer. I was told by Cakes Etc. to have my florist bring three dozen roses to the reception site and they would put them on the cake. The cake looked horrible!! You could see the clear plastic supports between each layer and she did not put flowers on the top of the cake. I had given her a picture for her to duplicate and she did not do what she said she would do. My photographer had to fix the cake before she could photograph it. The cake did taste good, but I would never use Cakes Etc. again. Your wedding is once in a lifetime and I will always remember my cake being wrong. Please think twice about using Cakes Etc.
