Legacy Lounge & Restaurant

My experience here was very unfortunate! First off, my friend arrived before me so she was sitting at the bar when I arrived. We sat at the bar for a while and were not asked if we wanted a drink or to put in food, so we decided to move to a table to maybe get faster service. Upon asking for a table, the bartender told us to “wait 5 minutes” for her to check the iPad and see if there is a table available (all tables were empty but apparently reserved). We finally got told which table to go to (not walked over), to a table that was obviously suited for 1. Let me summarize the remainder of my visit in bullets:

* The servers were wearing cheetah print leotards and just overall not presentable, also all sitting at the bar smoking hookah not assisting in any work or customers. Our server Kayla was excellent and apologetic for what is to come.
* The manager was wearing a sweatshirt, shorts and slides and NOT ONCE came over to ask us how we were doing.
* The glasses were dirty and were sent back to be remade in a plastic cup.
* The mimosa tasted like juice. Unlimited is $35, you cannot share a $24 craft and a single is $8. It’s not the cost for me, just the audacity to be serving juice for that much.
* The cosmopolitan I ordered got sent back because it was basically lime juice and cranberry, very bitter.
* The margarita I ordered instead was excellent!
* The food took over 40 minutes.
* The food I ordered came with fruit which they didn’t have, an English which they did not have or toast which they did not have. I was brought out A SMASHED HAMBURGER BUN AND BURNT RESIDUE ON MY EGGS. (my meal was comped)
* My friend ordered chicken and waffles which she said was dry and over fried.
* The DJ is loud but not their fault I knew this before I came, very good music.

Overall, I will not be back. Bad service is all I need to stay away from an establishment. This sucks because I love giving black businesses a fair chance and my $$$.

This has the potential to be a nice spot! The Dj is awesome. Drinks were good. But the food is horrible. I ordered shrimp and grits, my grits were not cooked at all!

Legacy Lounge was everything, nice vibe, great dj, food was pretty good, and parking could be better.

Originally made a reservation for a party of five, but instead of making two reservation tables because someone told me when they did that they got seated by the bathroom so I made reservations for 10 just for extra I was extremely disappointed to get there and find out that for my birthday I got folding tables for a picnic, barely sturdy enough to hold up my cake in a glass container by far the worst experience ever the worst birthday ever definitely not a place to book for your birthday unless you’re popular those are the people who got my best friend reserved the same day as me and got a better table than I did but the owner tried to tell me they reserved two weeks in advance When me and Her reserve the same day not to mention I reserved one in advance. That is something they should tell you like hey we only have folding tables available for you very cheap not to mention the food was ice cold

I hosted My son 4th birthday here the staff was very nice the food was phenomenal. It was a live dj that didn’t mind recommendations on the music. The place was clean and the owner was very helpful with the reservation. Thanks again ??

Food was EXCELLENT! Service was excellent!Came in on a Friday evening with my best friend. We are both from out of town, and were very very happy with our decision to stop by!Drinks were strong, but smooth. Lex was our server/bartender and she was wonderful and very pleasant.We will definitely be back!Check out their Happy Hour specials, excellent prices & excellent food & drinks.

I patronized legacy lounge yesterday for a birthday gathering. I walked in and the building smelled like smoke and the air was somewhat thick. The service was horrible. It took 15 mins before someone came to take my order, it took another 30m mins for me to just get juice and water. I then had to remind the waitress that I was waiting for my food. I even seen one waitress standing on the wall smoking a hookah pin. I ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta and wings with fries that I shared with my children and all 3 of us currently have food poisoning. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I was so hype about going to this place unfortunately the Instagram did no match the vibes .Service was a 1 out of 10 there was only three people in the at the time so it wasn’t crowed for the service to be slow . It took 35 min for our waiter to bring us a pre made margarita from the bar tender who was eating at the bar . Unprofessional. People who came in after us were getting there drinks within 10 minutes. The waiter was also eating upfront while we waited for our mediocre food .Salas with shrimp salad was very wilted to the point the waiter wears even like wow salad looks dead . This is what she said . Grits and shrimp was a 3 out of 10. We waited 47 minutes for our food . And again it was under 7 people in there over priced as well .
