The food is delicious, but our waitress was way too hyper, which didn't make it a very relaxing meal. She was running around from table to table asking what we wanted to drink (great hustle), but she'd have to come back for us to remind her what we ordered. Then....a HUGE pet-peeve of mine ... The runner dropped our food and right behind him was the waitress to drop out check! We hadn't eaten a bite and she was ready for us to pay. We left feeling very stressed.

Best place ever! I come here all the time and never had a bad experience! Food come hot and quick, service is speedy, and the 50’s atmosphere is awesome. Came here on Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend and we couldn’t stop talking about how everywhere else should be just like nicks diner.

Greg nostalgic Diner 50's themed excellent waitresses and waiters my only complaint was we went there lunch time and they did not serve breakfast food. I would have liked an omelette. I wound up having a Greek salad which is what I really wanted to eat. My husband had the deal of the day which was a great deal it was $7.99 half a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough toast with home fries and cup of soup

Got the Hangover…. Chicken was over cooked and the sausage gravy had a strange flavor. Very welcoming

We loved everything! The service, the food, the atmosphere and the decor. We went for brunch. Only waited 10 minutes at 12:30 on a Sunday and the place was packed! Food was excellent. We highly recommend The Hangover and the egg cream. Remember they close at 2, but open on Friday and Saturday from 4-8, so don't miss out!!!

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! Her service was truly top-notch. We came in with a group of 20+ people and, despite the chaos, she was an absolute pleasure. She remembered our orders, stayed incredibly patient, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for better service!

If I could give her 10 stars I would, but Service they stopped us at 5. Jennifer was so pleasant and so patient to accommodate our large party of 21 after the 5K walk. She remembered everyone’s orders, and was very knowledgeable of the menu, Which helps me things up for our very hungry party lol. food was good and portions were generous! Would surely come back again!!!

I must say being a true New Yorker with diners coming to halt, this place brought me back not only with time that I was never around but timeless traditional American food. Amy our server demonstrated exceptional service along with welcoming personality. Not only a 5 star restaurant but also 5 star server. Thank you y for making our day.

Delicious home cooked meal. We had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a salad. I even had enough meatloaf to make me a sandwich for the road. 😋😉😁
