Absolutely a fine dining experience. Delicious menu and excellent service!
The food is absolutely a delight. I've passed this restaurant for years thinking it was just something simple. But, the service and food was beyond anything I expected to be. Kaitlyn is hands the best house server in the restaurant industry. She knows her craft and is exceptional. I highly recommend this place as a treat for great food and true hospitality.
LOVED LOVED LOVED!! From the entrance to the staff to the service and the food ?. This has been my best experience at a high end steakhouse. The food presentation was great and the taste was even better. The staff was very attentive and the manager, Tyrell was very hands on with the customers. The ambiance is romantic, but relaxed enough where you can dress up or down. The food though....OMG!! I would go back again and again and again! Best birthday ? ? ? ? ? dinner ever!
I ordered the Shrimp & brisket jambalaya & I wasn't impressed. The shrimp was overcooked, the brisket tasted like spam from a can, the sauce was salty. I ate 2 stalks of asparagus from a friend's plate & they were nice & crunchy. She wasn't happy with her dinner either. The lobster was overcooked. The calamari are a must have. I got the roumelade sauce instead of the white sauce that came with it (best choice ever). Everyone else that was in our party was fine with their orders & drinks. I'll be back for the steak, since this is primarily a Steakhouse.
From the entrance to the seating, friendly staff, great service complete with awesome food this place has been an amazing experience hands down. I cannot wait to go back! The manager, Tyrell Dobson was very hands on and informative which we absolutely loved! This experience is how every visit to an upscale restaurant should be. I wish it was closer to home, but I can see myself driving there just to be wowed again.
The best steak house I have ever been to.
Got way way way too expensive for a restaurant in far West Palm. Used to be much more reasonable. Food is still good but we could do without the PB pricing.
Although it is very pricey, I had been wanting to eat here for months. Their menu has jalapeño in so many dishes or curry or j**** I wasn’t expecting that. You want flavors that compliment expensive fish not totally cover the flavor. I had the lobster and crab stuffed flounder. The stuffing was 99 percent bread crumbs. No obvious crab or lobster. They put jalapeño into the stuffing as well. They roll the fish around the stuffing. My fish was pink on the portion around the stuffing and very dry on the outside. It had a sauce over it, but I couldn’t tell what it was supposed to be because of all the jalapeño in things. It came with corn with jalapeño and some kind of hash brown patty. I would have preferred asparagus or spinach or real green beans. I don’t want corn at an expensive restaurant. I was going to order the snapper but the waitress assured me although there is jalapeño in a lot of dishes on the menu, it is not over powering. The chef is a “magician” and she doesn’t know how how does it. Don’t believe it. Pretty soon every mouthful just tastes like jalapeño with just a different texture. Jalapeño doesn’t belong with expensive fish. My husband had the whole Dover sole because it was something he never tried before. The waitress cleans the bones and stuff off it at your table. Then she said if it is full of eggs does he want to eat them. Thank God it wasn’t. The problem with that is you now have to wait while she does this presentation and by the time it was done my fish was cold. My husband loves coconut cream pie. We took two pieces home. He ate part of his and threw it away and said it was horrible. I have never seen that before. Mine is still in the frig. My cosmo was so bad I gave it to my husband. It had gran marnier, Tito’s, lemon, cranberry juice. Maybe it was the gran marnier that killed it for me. My husband liked one of his drinks and not the other. He said his meal was just okay, but he kept trying to get me to have some of his fish so I am not sure if he was just being polite at that point. At least his came with a baked potato and asparagus. Service was good. We heard another server say they had king crab legs that weren’t on the menu. Our server didn’t tell us. My husband would have had that. The guy who removes your plates, etc, was excellent! Really nice guy and quick. When everyone first arrives they were always asked if they had been there before. Everybody said no, but they had been to Okeechobee Steakhouse. The Okeechobee steakhouse we have never had a bad meal, but will not be back here.
the service and food is amazing here. happy hour is awesome. love the outdoor dining area. place the locals go. never was disappointed

I had the grilled octopus appetizer and the jerked seasoned grouper. Both were out of this world. Cooked to perfection!!! My son had the salmon and my wife had the snapper. Both were excellent. Price was up there but the service was top notch. The hostess, Tyler was amazing as was our server Marin. DEFINITELY a place I'd recommend and I will be going again very soon!!
Starting off with a beautiful atmosphere very romantic. The drinks are made very strong which I like. The bread is not the best tasting, one piece and you done. Then when the appetizers come and servers doing there meat presentations. I enjoyed my steak which cut like butter and the lobster was so juicy. ? Looking forward to going back.
First off the food and service were excellent. We ended up ordering way too much and made a joke to the waitress who was bringing us to go boxes that that we were going to do steak and eggs with the leftovers but we only had one egg at home. She made a special trip to the kitchen and brought us another egg with our to go boxes. This type of service goes above and beyond five stars. Highly recommended.
Steak was very good, albeit, expensive. Cocktails were okay, although the shaker at the table routine makes for watery drinks. The service was very good. The outdoor abience was abysmal. High top tables and lawn furniture with TV sets running is not what I would call " atmosphere " when the tables tab is $200. It would be better suited to a barbecue joint.
We have been to Okeechobee Steakhouse before and always a great experience. This was our first experience with the Okeechobee Prime Seafood. To say it was outstanding is an understatement. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the main course was AMAZING. Service was on point as well and very friendly. Only regret was we ate too much to have dessert which looked amazing.
