It is convenient if you are staying at the Marriott…however the food is marginal and frankly the bar and kitchen entrance just doesn’t convey any concern the management might have in terms of health/sanitation. Service is great, specialty drinks okay and you can’t beat the location.

Service was ok, waitress was very friendly, but the food was far below the standard I expected.
Ordered chips and salsa and had to pay $3 extra for a tiny prepackaged container of guacamole. I had expected the salsa and guacamole to be fresh, or at least a bigger portion.
The potstickers were very disappointing, and the rice bowl I ordered was honestly terrible. It was the plainest rice and most unseasoned chicken I’ve eaten anywhere, served with shredded carrots, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers for some reason???
My daughter’s mozza sticks, the fries, and our buffalo chicken wrap were acceptable, but overall we left disappointed.
Service was attentive, all the servers were extremely pleasant. The food was delicious would come back to eat

Definitely expected more. Very salty shrimp quesadilla served with expired guacamole. Potato chips were stale. Nachos only had melted cheese on the top of a large pile of chips. Very mediocre food. Friendly service. Order drinks. Eat elsewhere.

This was one of the restaurants on the property. We decided to give it a try. We were seated at an outside table with shade. The tables were a bit closer together than we liked so we asked for a table without other people sitting close to us. There was a natural barrier of trees blocking the view to the beach. It would have been better if we could see the beach while dining. The restaurant is next to a pool. However, the pool was not too noisy to ruin the meal. It could be because at this time of year, there were not a lot of children at the pool. Our meals consisted of the Coconut Shrimp Appetizer (tasted like store bought frozen shrimp), Angus Burger (tasted like a frozen hamburger), Turkey Club Sandwich (2 slides of bread instead of 3), Draft Modelo with Lime (they were out of Corona), and Sunsplash Daiquiri (insufficient strawberry flavor and overwhelming amount of crushed ice). We expected a better experience at a resort.
Sam was an amazing bartender. Friendly. Lively. A real good time! Drinks were awesome. Will be back.

Very relaxing you can sit all day every one has a great personality and the food is delicious especially the chips I highly recommend it
As a family we stay at Marriott at Ocean Pointe 2 times a year. Some members of family need to lunch there for unknown reason. They are universally disappointed and complain about the quality of the food. But its the only choice at Ocean Pointe, so..... How about take out from down the street,
So you will visit this Tiki bar when staying at the Marriott. The drinks are refreshing. The bartender does great job serving everyone quickly! The servers in the hut are limited but do their best. We ate lunch chicken Cesar wrap couple days for lunches. So nothing fancy but thankful they have tiki bar on-site!

Drinks are good I had the Mia Tai wife had the Sun Splash, $11 each. For lunch she had the rice bowl with chicken and I had the jalapeño Cilantro chicken tacos both items we very good the tacos needed more jalapeños if they are going to call them jalapeño-cilantro then make sure that is what is on the taco. Didn't have any cilantro I did ask for more jalapeños and sour cream which made them superb. I would have given 5 stars if the food had of been how it was advertised in the menu. Anyway, FYI if you're new to the resorts there is a Daily Special for drinks cost $8.50. They are going to ask you to buy a wrist band for $15 it takes $2 off every drink not including daily special and appetizers not meals. So if you drink daily special drinks don't waste your money, You already save $2.50.So don't get suckered in on it unless your going to be there for at least 4-5 nights and plan on eating and drinking at the resort then it will pay for its self, they will tell you they just started running a special to get you to buy it. And again the Daily drinks are good, some how the prices need to come down they shouldn't be more than $6 and $4 for the specials. I surely would stay at the bar and drink and eat more
On the Rocks Pool Bar & Grill is the restaurant for Marriott’s Ocean Pointe. The menu is simple and the food very delicious. We enjoyed take out, by the pool, or dining. Some of our family favorites include the Loaded Nachos, Chichen Caesar Salad, anything chicken, and Smoothies in all flavors. It is not much more than eating out at fast food and is much cheaper than other restaurants on the island. @ontherockspoolbar&grill @marriottsoceanpointe #ontherockspoolbar&grill #marriottsoceanpointe #vacationgreatness #marriottsvacationclub #singerisland #vacation #florida #beach #pool #familyvacation
Relaxed, casual pool bar. Thank you, Alex (bartender) for a fun week. We appreciate your hospitality. Food tasty, enjoyed the club sandwich and quesadilla (both were enough to split between 2 people). Many thanks to Alex and team. :)
Not many food options that are healthy, Nice staff, drinks are made strong, so that's a plus, but a limited bar. If you want a snack and a drink, it's ok, as it is about your only option.
Let me start with the positives. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is good and the drinks were decent if a little over priced. The food is very ordinary. We had nachos to start which were ok and then the Mahi Mahi sandwich. Fish was dry and in hindsight we should have sent it back. The major thing that Marriott need to look at is the use of plastic to serve food. I get this May have been Covid driven but at a time when the world is moving away from one time use plastics to have drinks and food served in that way feels wrong and against the overall Marriott ethos. We had been at the welcome meeting in the morning and the GM had been touting how good the food service around the resort was going to be. On this experience they have a long way to go. Either improve the food quality or reduce the prices. I’m a very satisfied Marriott Vacation Owner but I wish I’d spent my money with a local restaurant last night!
