Bummed because I've had a few good lunches here. But, lately it's been tough. I call and no one seems to be able to answer the simplestof questions when trying to order. To the point we almost hung up because asking if mayo came on the sandwich made the phone change hands twice and there still wasn't and answer. my sandwich came with the sauce I asked for it to come without. Now, I tried the crepes and it said the filling included mozzarella, but there was no mozzarella inside and instead it was soggy with literally 4 pieces of yellow kraft cheese slices ON TOP of the crepe. It was inedible. I did also want to mention there were no apologies about the order with it came with the sauce i inquired about.I gave 2 stars because the potatoes were good.
I’m not one to make reviews but I’m really disappointed. Food is not bad except for it being prepared with no gloves and the long black hair I found in my breakfast burrito.I paid $5.99 for a baklava that fits in the palm of my hand and I’m 100% sure they have no idea how to make coffee because it’s either too watery or just tastes gross. The place is also extremely hot as it seems there is no air conditioning and the ambiance is a bit off. I will not be returning. Overall, I threw my whole order away ):
Visited Monday morning and ordered avocado toast and fruit. After waiting 20 minutes, I asked when my food would be ready, only to be told they didn't have the order. Instead of apologizing and demonstrating some customer service, he instead tells me that I should realize that he's short staffed! I don't work here; how would I know that?? Not only is this place lacking in customer service, the food here is mediocre at best.
I liked this place at first due to the food. However, I truly felt uncomfortable with the staff and not valued as a customer. They were not all kind and I had to repeat myself 4 times about my order being wrong or politely ask for the extra balsamic glaze. I have tried getting food on two separate occasions from this location and both times I had issues with staff. The first time visiting I waited almost an hour for my food. The second time visiting the staff ignored me about the wrong order. I never write reviews but I have to say I won't be going back. I do love the food they have but I rather order from a place that makes me feel more valued as a customer.
Very slow and disorganized service, we waited for a cup of hot coffee for 20 mins seeing other people getting served who were behind us. After all, the owner or GM told us that they aren’t slaves when asked “where is our coffee”? And apparently they made a coffee 20 mins ago, poured it into a cup, forgot about it, stood me up for 20 minutes and then served it to me after giving us a lecture lol. We felt that we shouldn’t be back. Good menu though.
My food was amazing. I like their sandwiches and jamaican coffee. Chef Alper is always attentive and he delivers good customer service.
Amazing Turkish breakfast and te ❤️❤️❤️
Amazing service and amazing food! The cafe is so cute. It’s a really nice place to relax. I will definitely be coming back.
Wow, lunch combination was absolutely exquisite. Coffee was up to par. But the bricked chicken bowl. Amazing... healthy, filling, great combination to please the pallet!
Between all the cafes in the area I’ve tried, this is the best place I have found to work from. I’ve ordered many different things and everything is delicious. The people are always so kind and welcoming. It’s also the only cafe that doesn’t blast the AC at a ridiculously frigid temperature, which I REALLY appreciate.

Reasonably priced and a diversity of great food on Clematis Street, perfect for lunch breaks or studying
Always there is an attitude towards their customers from the owners and they open or close as they please! They must not be liking their job. Good coffee tho!
The staff here were great! The cranberry BLT sandwich was so good, chef Eric was kind and came out to greet us and made our experience amazing. Great young chef with so much potential.
Eric is my boy! Coming from a guy who’s done customer service for 5 years Eric is very personable. Always makes sure to take care of me and is the funniest guy in clematis. Best recommendations on what food to buy, he even put me on to their smoothies. If you’ll go for anyone go for this handsome man.
I work at the kava bar next door, and always see the manager Leo and Eric when I go in for my daily lunch breaks… the acai bowls are delicious the salads and the sandwiches are to die for! These guys are running the shop so well, such hard working guys and extremely fresh food and coffee!
