What can I say about this place? One of the most unusual restaurants you’ll ever find. We loved it, but no matter what you think you'll at least appreciate it for what it is: a celebration of the past. Think 1950s drugstore coffee shops you may have visited or read about, only taken to another level with an incredible collection of nostalgic paraphernalia displayed everywhere. The décor is fascinating—so much cool stuff to see! They’ve preserved the original counters and stools, so you can sit right at the counter if you like, or choose one of the tables. Chef/Owner Ken Rzab was wonderful to talk with—he’s passionate about the restaurant’s history and it shows. Certainly, a labor of love. Local artwork adds even more charm, and the convenience of their own parking lot right next door is a real plus. We stopped in just for dessert and loved both the Key Lime Pie and Coconut Quiche— loved both. All desserts are made in-house... including the ice cream. You can tell this place has a loyal local following. I can’t wait to come back for dinner... definitely eyeing the Crabcake Appetizer and the Roasted Half Duck. If you come, just remember to save room for dessert!
We had gone by here several times whenever we came down to visit my Aunt. Tonight we finally went in to eat and it was fantastic. The server was hilarious, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was quirky and fun. I highly recommend it. My husband is a chef in the Waldorf Astoria and I will bring him next time we come together.

Just not a family friendly place. We had a toddler and a young baby we had to attend to. With the entire restaurant empty we were greeted being asked if we had a reservation before they decided to seat us. Our toddler, like most, wanted to walk around and explore the restaurant while we were trailing him the entire time. The service reacted by yanking something out of his hands at the table and telling him not to play with that. That was our role, and we did not have the time to be parents before the service decided to be lacking in their own manners. The toddler ended up showing more maturity. The staff clearly could not handle a family at the establishment and the welcome reflected the same.

My BIRTHDAY TOP choice every year for Best tasting food for what I get, which is flounder Herb crusted with ber Blanc sauce and if I tell you about the superior waiter BOb, I wouldn't shut up. ALWAYS hands down....Best, most satisfying meal and experience @ exactly the right price ❤️ and when I want no mistakes and exactly what I expect, I go here and my Birthday was Amazing again

Had a cool time here. Laid back, eclectic vibes of traditional WPB. Filet was grilled perfectly with fresh cookies and milk for dessert. One of the last remaining OG places in the city

I feel uncomfortable here.. a guy came in and started being weird with me. and I got my money scammed here for no reason? I didn’t even get no food after waiting for 30mins. So yes the food is 1 star because I didn’t have get to have a taste. If you’re gonna make a restaurant Get. Better. Workers.

I’m just shocked. I literally had the most worst server ever. They decided to scam my money and didn’t give me food. Get better workers.

Rhythm Cafe is the kind of place you’d stumble into by accident, then spend the next decade telling your friends about. It starts with the bread—warm, fresh, and served with soft butter that should be illegal. Then there’s the flatbread: smoky BBQ sauce, just the right crisp. The pear fiocchi? A decadent surprise. Filet mignon—perfectly cooked, with a horseradish sauce that will blow your mind. And the saganaki? They light it on fire at your table, like they actually want you to feel something- one of the best I’ve ever had.
Chocolate chip cookies that have been rocking taste buds for 30 years round it out. The whole place feels like a time warp—cool, colorful, unapologetically itself. Local art on every wall, and service that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. Rhythm Cafe doesn’t just serve food. It serves soul.

First timer...what a pleasant surprise!
Small quirky restaurant- old soda fountain but the food was unbelievable.
I cleaned my plate of the herb crusted salmon with coconut rice. And the chocolate buttercream cake was to die for. Definitely will be back!

The place is great. Has a lot of local history. Inside is retro and a bit dark. The food is delicious, from the starters to the dessert. The service is just as good. Jamie was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed the evening.
