I get why the reviews here are so bad. It's possible they have good food but you may never find out. I'm surprised that MSHost hasn't done something about it. My complaint is that they don't have any allergen information about their food. I actually thought that was required by law. When I asked about it the host asked the bar tender who said they don't have an allergen menu or book or any other information. So I would strongly recommend any place that doesn't know what's in their food.
Great Rueben and fries. A sit down restaurant so don’t be in a hurry

Had a terrible experience at Rooney's Irish Pub at PBI. Arrived at 5:30 pm, only to be promptly turned away by the bartender from across the restaurant, claiming they were about to close and not accepting any more guests. The sign says they close at 6:00 pm, and Google states midnight as the closing time—talk about conflicting information! This kind of disorganized and misleading business practice is unacceptable. Won't be coming back.

You know it's bad when every other table is complaining loudly about the poor service. I think communication goes a long ways, and the employees didn't communicate what you would normally expect at a place like this. I would have been okay with that if it wasn't branded as an Irish pub with a bar and low-lighting. I noticed multiple tables with a ton of abandoned food left on plates, which is never a good sign. I wasn't helped for several minutes which was also the experience of another table (they approached the hostess and asked if they were supposed to order at the bar). At one point, a group angrily stormed out, citing poor service. I had to approach the bar to get my bill and pay.
Despite the non-existent service and lack of effort put into customer service, I will add a star because I was able to order a nice tuna salad (I'm gluten free) and the price was pretty reasonable considering it's an airport (however, the price on the receipt was higher than the price on the menu....).

I asked before being seated how long it would take to get my food. I was told ten minutes by the hostess. It took 20 from the time of my order and it was wrong. I ordered a burger with no bread and to substitute a side salad for fries. The burger was fine but the salad served was a house salad (additional extra charge from just a substitution) which included bacon...I am allergic to bacon. I am cutting tight for a flight and it's now 30 minutes and the order hasn't been corrected and I have not received my check ( requested 3 times so I could pay before I completed the meal). So as pleasant as everyone was, the level of service was just awful. I left money for the bill...never ate my salad. If you are on a tight schedule, don't eat here.

Pretty good place if you're looking for a bite to eat at the airport. They were out of coffee when I asked, but they even sent someone from the kitchen to get a pot from starbucks. Don't see why prior reviews were so negative. Overall good service, decent food, nice atmosphere for an airport pub.
That's said, I asked for a shot of Jameson, and the waitress returned with a shot of clear gin, saying: "here's your Jameson." (I think it's a little ironic especially since the mixup occurred at an Irish pub of all places!). Minus one star for that.
Disappointed. The hours say open til 12am. It's 9:30pm and it's closed. Please fix your hours of operation.
A decent place to get bar food and drinks.

Really i would not have my name on this place. Says a lot about Rooney family. Dated dirty the food from freezer to your plate! If i worked at an airport bar i would be quick to serv so i could earn more tips. Ya know limited time and all, to catch flight. There were as many staff as customers and services was terrible. Food was gross. Maybe stick to football..... That not doing so good either.
