They don't shy away from the tumes where there was more concern for draining land for building. The modern SFWMD us focused on sustainable fresh water and minimizing damage to the natural ecosystem.
Nice and clean. Had to attend some business.
One of the more important bureaucratic site in Florida with a beautiful campus and helpful staff to boot!
Took to me one year to get the water bill in my name after my husband passed away. They kept the bill in his name but got the money from my account. I presented the death certificate and the house deed in my name and they refused to put the water bill in my name. After more than a year finally they put in my name but charged a new security deposit. They said it's because the house was not in my name before my husband pass and my last name was different. It was my option not changing my last name. The law allow you to decide it. I didn't have any problems changing the bills to my name in other companies like FPL. They added so much to the hard time i went through with my husband loss.
I've worked here for 35 years.

Appointed by Rick Scott to protect Big Sugar until the very end. Their latest EAA reservoir proposal is outright criminal.
send the water south. These policy makers are killing our waterways
Safest place in South Florida to be during a hurricane. The building literally transforms into a shelter!
