First time visit ordered an iced matcha and burrito but the guy taking my order was distracted and added iced mocha to the tab. I told him twice, then he noticed his mistake
But While waiting, I saw the girl place two matchas at the stand without calling names, another dude was there waiting for matcha and neither of us knew which one was ours . She never clarified which was whose . I ordered mine with almond milk ( who knows if I even got almond milk tasted like milk to me ) and wasn’t mixed properly :(Then I waited about 30 minutes for my burrito while others got their orders first. I went up to check, and the girl said my name had been called, but I never heard it. I was sitting close to the stand, so I’m not sure what happened there . She also didn’t call names for the matcha …I kept waiting thinking they were working on it this whole time , never asked once what I was waiting for since I was clearly waiting for something . :/

Excellent coffee. It is a very relaxed place, it has a bohemian style. The coffee is roasted right there. We just had an espresso. But it was at the perfect point of preparation and acidity.

Have been here numerous times and multiple locations , always disappointed. The service is always rude as if they can’t be bothered that you are a customer or if you even have a question about the menu. If you want to wait 30 minutes for a pre made empanada to come out this your place. I left without even getting my food today because it took so long. The coffee is always subpar. Will never come back, do not recommend.

My wife and I just happened to be walking down Clematis looking for a place to eat lunch and walked by SubCulture. Stopped in and met a lot of very friendly and helpful people.
Had a ham and Swiss sub which was delicious. The bread was excellent. The sandwich was done exactly as requested. If you are in the area be sure to stop by, meet some great people and eat some great food.

The service was outstanding! Very friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches were fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Whenever back in the area, we will stop by again.
Nice staff. $6 for an empanada that was pretty good. Coffee there is pretty good but also I’m not really a coffee guy. Love the window seats. Also the lighting in the bathroom closest to the door is incredibly photogenic, not that you should use up the bathroom to take photos but im just saying

Just got an iced coffee it was okay and the atmosphere seemed quite like dirty idk how to explain it. HOWEVER my barista was SO NICE I loved her I regret not getting her name but she was so sweet and brought me and my friend water and we didn’t even ask for one. If I ever come again definitely because of her! :)
