Sushi Yama - Clematis

Don’t order if you’re hungry. I order the chicken pad Thai through Uber eats. The portion for what you pay is not worth it. See the pictures. Also, not much chicken. Will never order again. Disappointed….

I was exited to try this place only to be disappointed. The calamari “strip” aka logs were not good at all. After trying to send it back to get something else the very rude manager told me “this is not a place to come and try food” while rolling her eyes. I planned on ordering many other things to try but after that disgusting remark I paid my bill, calamari included, and left. I will never return to this location.

Ive been meaning to do a review on this place! Its literally one of the best restaurants downtown, from the service to the food, Ive never had one bad meal here, and the happy hour is perfect for those who want to try everything out for a discounted price! Me and my daughter are definitely regulars

. The snapper fish fillet was supposed to be a healthy choice. However this dish was loaded with sugar and way too sweet. The hot tea was foul and the water smelled like it came from rusty pipes and the sprinkle of green tea thrown in to the teapot does not fool anybody. Take pride in the tea because it tastes like nothing.The sushi was ok but not as described on the dolphin roll. We ordered the fillet and spent the money to have a healthy dish. This is not what was provided. The nerve to blow that dish with sugar. Whoever cooked the fillet would be a beginner. Incidentally the fillet could have come four different ways but we were never asked how we wanted the fillet prepared by the waitress. Maybe the chef decided to throw some onions and garlic and a bottle of sugar in all together? Some of the onions were spoiled. We could and should have done better at home. This is not a culinary experience at all and this vendor would rank at the introductory level of experience and care. A ruined meal. Absolutely go anywhere else on clematis.
