I visit here every week. Specifically Thursday-Sunday. I’m a big foodie I appreciate consistency. Not once have I have ever a bad experience here, the food is always good, the atmosphere is always good vibes with amazing variety of music, and don’t let me get started about the drinks. If you were ever blessed enough to have Paula or Happy as a server then you know what I’m talking about. She always makes good drinks and the whole staff is so friendly and always remember my wife and I. I brought so many friends here and they all also love you it, not to mention where else will you find a spot that has anazing drinks AND food on happy hour especially on Sunday’s. You can’t go wrong.

A personal favorite for sushi!!! Most times I order delivery, but service is quick when you eat in. The menu can be overwhelming, just a warning (it should be half the size). The crab rangoons are STUFFED with filling; definitely not skimping on the crab and cheese. They're always nice and crispy wontons as well. The pork gyoza is fresh, delicious both steamed and fried. My favorite thing at this restaurant are the cone shaped spicy tuna handrolls (temaki). The cucumber, tempura flakes, and tuna, blend together so well. They've been extremely fresh, every time I order them. Would prefer the sushi sheet was a little crispier. I always order basic sushi, so I can't comment on all the extravagant and signature rolls.

If you ate here before, check what they charged you.We were attended by Paula, a very rude and unprofessional waitress, she doesn't even know the menu. When finished, I paid and left. We left Paula little tip, because of her attitude. Next day, I checked my bank account and charged a $15 tip, which is not even close to what I left. How's that possible? Make sure to keep your receipt, specially if you are attended by this lady, so you can dispute with your bank.Food came, good size servings but not quality. Wasabi was too strong, it was like eating sushi with hot pepper instead. Sushi was just eatable. Rice was sticky. Soup was horrible, just don't order it, my gums were irritated after eating it. Place is not clean, seats are sticky.I went to this place expecting to have a good restaurant experience, and had a fast food "wok" experience.

One of the best sushi places in this area! Everything is fresh and delicious. Love the age dashi Tofu, chicken katsu, spicy tuna roll and more... We come here often and they never disappoint. Our teens love their food and we are happy to have a good asian restaurants close to home

Summer rolls were good, pad Thai was weird, not like any I've ever had. Probably best to stick to their Japanese food?

My family and I ate here on New Year's Eve - and it was awesome! I can't believe it wasn't packed - but this was the perfect place for us. We had walked up and down Clematis looking for someplace that would be kid friendly, after seeing Sandi-Land, and so many of the restaurants we passed had special NYE menus with not a lot of kid friendly options. However, we avoided this at Sushi Yama, who seated our large party right away, served us amazing food that everyone liked, and we didn't have to deal with holiday menus, which are great sometimes but with kids can sometimes be limiting. Thank you for keeping things normal for us! We ordered many things, including the old standbys of wonton soup, pad thai with shrimp, and california rolls. I also got 2 other rolls that sounded good - and 1 was so awesome. I wish I had written this review earlier so that I could remember the roll names. I will post my photos although they are dark. I look forward to returning and knowing that I already like some of the rolls here, and I love knowing a place I can go to when downtown. On this night, I enjoyed people watching through the storefront windows looking out onto Clematis. My kids enjoyed looking at the multiple tvs. We sat on high chairs at a long rectangle table. My entire party was very happy. Thanks again!

A spectacular place to enjoy with your wife and friends. Sushi ? for $6 with a fresh and different flavor. The margaritas with their good touch of alcohol hahaha and strong. Service is fast and efficient. Even super friendly.Good quality-price ratio. It's always a pleasure to return.Parking: They should use the downtown parking lot in the city place, which is cheaper for longer instead of on the street.

This was the worse restaurant I have ever eaten at. The sushi was not edible along with all the other food. On top of that the service was god awful. The waitress had an attitude and intentionally messed up our food. I will never return and neither should you.

Sushi Yama, nestled amidst the vibrant city of West Palm Beach, is a true gem of authentic Japanese cuisine. From the moment you step through the doors, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and culinary artistry. The restaurant's ambiance is a harmonious blend of modern chic and traditional Japanese charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The heart of Sushi Yama lies in its impeccably fresh and flavorful sushi. Each bite is a symphony of textures and tastes, showcasing the chef's masterful technique and unwavering commitment to quality.Beyond their sushi prowess, Sushi Yama also excels in a variety of traditional Japanese dishes. The teriyaki dishes are impressive, with tender meat or seafood infused with a rich and savory sauce that perfectly complements the accompanying rice. The service at Sushi Yama is as impeccable as their cuisine. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, eager to guide you through the menu and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. They take pride in their craft, and it shows in every interaction.Overall stars
