This is a cool pop up in the downtown west palm area. The menu is so cool to me, it's a CD jacket, open it up and each side either had food options or pictures, I've never seen anything like it before. I like the DJs music although it does say Hip Hop they do play other genres. Maybe by request or crowd scooping. I had the chicken tacos and a chicken quesadilla both of which tasted great. I had never had a chicken quesadilla like this one, I pictured the tortilla and grilled cheese and some chicken in a flat pressed way but they do there's differently and I like it. It almost reminded me of roti from my country in Trinidad. Check them out, the hours do vary so look at that before hand. Tuesday nights and Friday nights are fun.

The food and drinks were so good. I ordered the calamari .. that sent me to the heavens! Everything was well seasoned and cooked. The service was great as well. I will be coming back!

So the name drew us in. Who doesn't like some good Mexican food and Hip Hop. If your looking for chips and salsa keep it moving! So Saturday night about 8pm the place was practically empty, good thing right don't have to wait for a table. We were seated promptly and given a drink menu and 2 CD covers. After figuring out the main menu(on the back cover) apps inside we waited way too long for a waiter to come to our table to greet us considering the place only had 2 other parties in the entire restaurant! When he came he was very nice and took our apps and drink order. 1 Funky Buddha and 1 "It Was All A Dream" Margarita. Although tasty the Margarita was way to small for a $14 drink! The app came quickly and lucky for them it was good. The main course took long but also very good. These are very very small portions, so if your looking for a traditional large Mexican entree this is not the place! However the food was pretty good. Prompter service would have made the experience much better!

I've been wanting to go here since they open. I'm happy to finally gotten the chance. I would give it a 5 stars but the size and price of the food is too much. Everything we order was delicious. The music is great love it.

I loved the food and the experience at Tacos and Hip Hop. I'm not sure why people are complaining about the portions, because I couldn't even finish my meal. The food was amazing, the service and vibe were great. My husband was even impressed and he's a hard one to please. We are definitely eager to go back, and will do so soon.

Hip-Hop Heads Unite!! Music is always on point and the service is very friendly & chill. The steak tacos were unique and fresh and the loaded steak fries were delicious. The menus are fun and really creative I especially liked all the movie and music references.

This place is a dream for hip hop lovers. Best music while eating. Food is AMAZING. Servings are petite but just right for a quick stop. Atmosphere and vibe is always great. Service is very fast. Manager is very sweet and supportive to his staff. I observed him asking our waiter if she needed anything. Can't wait until they have apparel for guests. Spoke to the manager today (6/7/2019) and they are working on it. Overall great place with great servers and managers.
Awesome place. The hip hop murals on the walls, the great hip hop music playing, the menus are CD cases with clever names related to hip hop songs for menu items. Great servers and staff all around. Been 4 times so far and will definitely keep coming back.

Seeing this place be an event on clematis to having a pop up restaurant is more then just amazing as I was hoping that it would great. I was expecting to be able to order however many tacos I want but no an order comes with 2 tacos = 9$ THATS 4.50 per taco. A small taco. 4.50 for a taco has me so mind blown. Luckily I don't eat much so two tacos was just fine. But imagine like on days where I'm hungry I can eat up to 6 tacos and I'll be spending more then 60$ on food. Which is upsetting because I expected so much more. That being said aesthetically Wise this place is cute there menu idea was actually the cutest thing ever. Just expected so much more from this place truly.

I can honestly say I'm impressed, best tacos in town. Service was amazing, drinks were astonishing. The music selection is excellent, all the latest hits plus the best of old school hip hop.

Creative with their menu approach as they were printed on CD cases. We ordered a variety of tacos and apps and they were okay. Did not seem freshly cooked which is a buggy for me. It's nice to see a new restaurant downtown especially in this space! Love the indoor/outdoor bar. Will return to try more items on the menu

I have been eagerly awaiting for this spot to open and to my dismay it was not worth my time. I experienced the worse service ever, and I'm not even that picky- just be nice, check in on me, and pay attention. The food was good, but the sizes were just way small for a pop up restaurant, I get the concept was a food truck but if you were thinking of going to eat dinner here and be satisfied you are mistaken. Overall, try it once maybe take a cute picture but not worth it. Moving on...
