Absolutely phenomenal! The food wasn’t just good—it was superb. The pork chops might have been the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The oxtail pasta was incredible—rich, tender, and cooked to perfection.

The only thing that fell a little short were the French fries, which were a bit underwhelming compared to everything else.

And as an added bonus, the parking validation was such a blessing—it made the whole experience even better.

Highly recommend The Blind Monk. I’ll definitely be back!

The Blind Monk has always been a local favorite that I don’t think always gets the recognition it deserves. It’s connected to a residential tower, so it probably doesn’t get as much foot traffic as the spots over on Clematis (although almost everyone who lives there probably eats at Blind Monk).

That being said, it’s an excellent date night spot. Wine, charcuterie, craft beers…what more could you want to start a night out? You can even customize the charcuterie to your liking (I’m a Pick 5 guy), so it’s easy to change it up each time you visit.

Overall, it’s a really great, quaint spot with consistently high-quality food and service.

I wasn’t sure since there were mixed reviews but both times I went it was phenomenal. The bartender I had the first night was a server the second night and she was amazing to watch. And apparently she makes the chocolate cake, too! The second female bartender was also amazing with great cocktail stories and suggestions. It’s clear they enjoy their jobs and I thought the food I had was phenomenal! Someone said about getting lukewarm food and both nights my pasta was so hot I had trouble cooling it down fast enough to shovel it in. Excellent service, excellent food and an awesome, chill vibe!

Came on a weekday evening on business travel and ordered the Tavern/Butcher's Blend slider and Charred Cauliflower for small dinner fare. Was extremely pleased with the service, the speed of food, and quality of the food.

If I could give 10 stars I would but seems five is googles limit lol. This is my favorite Resturant in south Florida hands down. My wife and I are very picky foodys who barley eat out. So we make sure to go to the best restaurants when we do. Honestly this restaurant deserves a Michelin star. I bet if the owner applied he would get a star! I have went to 3 star restaurants this place is definitely worthy. We eat a lot we get a few appetizers and three or four entrées. Every single different dish is a 10/10 and I literally give almost nothing a 10/10. It stems from the owner being so passionate about food and delivering the highest quality food. He uses the highest quality ingredients you can taste it. He find the most fresh fruits and veggies from farms and uses them. Honestly he just knows what his doing when it comes to taste.. also the cheese board is out of this world.
Please try the “FRESH MOZZ & STONEFRUIT” out of this world! You have to try the “SEMIFREDDO” also try the “ROAST CHICKEN SALAD“ we don’t eat meat so we sub the chicken for cheese. The Broccolini side is amazing as well!
Also the “BARELY SIMMERED HEIRLOOM TOMATOES” better than any past in Italy! The price of this restaurant should be double what they’re charging… I feel the prices are more than fair! The atmosphere is great. Sometimes they have live music outside. The waitresses and waiters are great. And the manger Terres is the best she will take care of any and everything with a smile!! Big shout out to the owner for his passion and love for food. His attention to detail. Everything is super clean and the quality control is impeccable. grateful to have such a quality Resturant in the area.

Tarriss was outstanding- she was so kind & welcoming. We had an amazing dinner the first night in town and then we came back for drinks. The atmosphere was 10/10! Highly recommend the smash burger & signature cocktails.

The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly and the vibe is so so good. Food was delicious and the drinks were top notch. Honestly, a great wine bar AND the cocktails were very delicious and artistic. Unfortunately, our service wasn’t fantastic, which was disappointing. It was made worse when the server argued about why he only received an 18% tip and when we explained, he continued to argue with us. Nevertheless, this is a great spot despite our 1 server.

My partner and I have come here more than once for fancy dinner nights out and we always have an amazing experience. Chelsea is always so attentive and sweet and gives out great wine recommendations! The atmosphere is so romantic as well! Definitely a must to check out for a cute and lovely dinner date night!

After 11 years of putting my love and hard work into this place it’s o obvious it hasn’t carried over…disappointed to say the least

Delicious, simple, and full of flavor! The Blind Monk truly stands out with its attention to detail—even the bathroom is beautifully designed. The food bursts with flavor, and the drinks are perfectly crafted. Rhianna was an excellent hostess—friendly and attentive. We will definitely return and highly recommend this gem!
