The food at Bocas House Weston was very good and the service by Jose was outstanding. Jose was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. He was very familiar with not only the menu but with some of the history of Peru and of Japan. He definitely made the experience more enjoyable.

The food was a mix of highs and lows. Our steak and salad with tuna niche were both delicious, but the timing was off—the steak arrived more than five minutes before the salad, and the mashed potatoes were only room temperature. Service felt inattentive; our server cleared the table, napkins included, yet we still waited about 15 minutes for the check despite the restaurant not being very busy for a Friday evening. Great flavors, but the experience could be smoother.

We went to try the all you can eat and I have to say that we enjoy very much the variety... the quality of the dishes... but more than anything the service that Ileana gave us trough the dinner. She was so welcoming, attentive, informative, fresh and happy.... that we can say is a rare gem to find it in south florida.
