Flanigan's Seafood Bar and Grill

The staff at Flanagan's is always good but the food? yuck. I have been to Flannigan's many times over the years and it has has gone down, down, down. I go there once a week with friends for lunch and would not bother but for them. Take today. If you are going to serve hot food at least try and serve it on hot plates otherwise you are going to be serving cold food. Never heard of a salamander? I ordered a coffee, which was luke warm at best. When I asked for a hot one the waiter returned with the excuse they couldn't make any more as they had run out of filters. Sounds bizarre. A microwave would help. Next, clam chowder, warm but on a cold dish, so, soon cold. Next, cheese burger, all up with fries. Again, cold fries, cold plate, Toasted bun that was cold, overcooked meat also cold. You know what happens to cheese slices when you put them on hot meat? They melt, not these ones. All in, not a pleasant meal. One thing I noticed, most finished plates being returned from other tables were NOT empty. It was as if the food were not to the diners taste. As to my companions, no smiles about the food, a little sparing on praise as one of our company paid and it would not be seemly to complain . Was today an exception? I am afraid not. 2 out of ten, and that only because the staff are really pleasant.

Love this Flannigan's! Paula is an amazing waitress, all of our food was hot and fresh the service was incredible. We met Jimmy the store manager he runs an awesome restaurant, he was courteous and very attentive.

Flanigans has for years offered my favorite seafood gumbo, consistently great at any location I visit. Still true. And, Flanigans offers great value. It is still an affordable place to eat out. Fun decor, well-trained and hardworking staff.

Its seems this location revamped the customer service etiquette. I haven't been here in a while, but the staff had changed and they finally hired people that have a sense of accomplishment. The floors are a little to sticky, but food is consistent.

Rudest service I have ever gotten from Denise. I normally don't even bother making complains but this went a little too far. Me and my wife sat down and one of the servers brought a plate of nachos and this lady after me and my wife started to eat because on the menu said free nachos with your first pitcher we thought it was like a special, took the nacho without even asking if I wanted to pay for it or explaining the mistake. Hope no one else experience the uncomfortable moment I had.
