La Perla Seafood Bar & Grill

Me and my wife have come here for years and my wife and her family even longer. I normally don’t go out of my way to leave a review like this, but this has been bugging me. I ordered a to go order like I normally do and ordered my usual order for my wife and I. When I get home with my order it’s the wrong order and they didn’t have corvina let so I settle for there snapper ceviche ( don’t recommend) I ordered for it mixto. When I get home it’s a regular fish ceviche and explained this isn’t what I want. He tell me to they’ll make it and to come over. When I get there I’m greeted with a new bill when I think they should’ve just remade it personally. I decide to leave it based on principle. I’ve had so many good moments in this place with my wife and family but I’ve noticed the flavor of the food changing. Pretty sure the cooks are different based on the flavor or I have covid. This was once the only fine dining Peruvian place in Weston and now there are options and as paying customer especially one that has been coming for more than a decade. I don’t appreciate being hustled and most importantly wasting my time.

Is the longest tenure Peruvian restaurant in this area, have many years as many local customers love the food. The service has improved thru the years. The food still excellent. My recommendation is Churrasco midium with Tallarines a la huancaina. Enjoy!

My rice chaufa with chicken not not up to par. Chicken pieces were hard not well seasoned. The chaufa left my mouse dry I had to ask for some sauce. The restaurant itself is very modern and pretty. Plenty of seats inside and out. Music playing and visual of Peru while you dine. I'll have to try one more time with a different dish.

Folks, I'm a foodie... As picky as they come... You have got to try the food... Perfection all the way.

We were a party of 8... We did eat inside... The place was not at all crowded... Very pleasant all the way around.

We ordered 2 saltados. Food was great, tasty but very salty. The service was good and the atmosphere was great. It felt like being at a restaurant in the Caribbean. Dessert was average.
