I really like when quick-serve restaurant chains deliver a consistent experience, have professional and attentive staff, and (as the name implies) serve quickly. TJ Flats has always done this time after time and for budget friendly prices.
This is Tex-Mex by the way (don't expect mole poblano or birra here) but knock yourself out with nachos with dipping cheese, burritos and tacos. Extra points for offering a corn soft taco option. Most places like this would have just gone in for flour only on the tortillas.

What a horrible place to have tacos, the meat doesn’t even taste like meat. Customer service is bad, hygiene is bad. Food tastes horrible, I pray that this place goes under investigation because the meat is not meat is something else.

This review would be zero stars if there was an option. The food is not the issue. The food is good. The service is NON EXISTENT. Anytime my wife and I have placed a to go order, the service has been poor and taken forever. Last month on 12/12/24 was maybe the worst complete lack of customer service I have ever witnessed in a restaurant. I waited for 10 minutes at the to go counter. There was one order and one empty soda cup on the to go rack behind the counter. 5 different employees who were not busy walked right by me. Someone with a burgundy polo shirt and hat that looked to be a supervisor walked right behind the to go counter I was standing at, grabbed something, ignored me, handed something to the girl working the cash register and retreated to the back. I ended up going to the rack myself to confirm my name was on the receipt/bag. It was, so l grabbed my meal. The soda cup was empty, so (like another women before me) I went to the front of the order line to ask for my soda to be filled. The girl ignored me, answered a phone and then took someone else in line. I left the soda cup there and stormed out. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out = 0 Service. If you enjoy good food and absolute lack of customer service, enjoy your meal here. If you value customer service, avoid this location and go elsewhere. Do better.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered takeout for my kids and they mix up the burritos when the orders are clearly marked on the containers. So one kid starts eating and then we realize it’s the wrong one and then the other now doesn’t want to eat it. It’s an unnecessary hassle and it happens all the time. I have young kids and it’s very frustrating. And they also forgot the apple juice. Also not the first time that’s happened.

Everything was good, but never told about upcharges until the bill. Don't ask what kind of meat if you upcharge. But the steak, very very very few pieces of steak for the extra amount.
