A True Italian Gem worthy of a Friday night in Weston!

Our dining experience at Zona Blu was exceptional from start to finish! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, short wait time with a reservation, and our waiter, Leo, was fantastic—making us feel comfortable and well taken care of. He guided us through the plethora of delicious options on the menu, and his recommendations were spot-on.

We started with the calamari, which was perfectly seasoned with subtle spices and delicate flavors—a promising start to the meal. For my main course, I had the Belgium endive salad with gorgonzola cheese, pears, walnuts, and a unique Sardinian honey mustard dressing, topped with grilled chicken. Every bite was fresh and delicious.

The wine list is one of the best I've seen, featuring some outstanding Italian wines. We ended up having two bottles of the 2018 Primitivo di Manduria because it was just that good!

For the main event, we tried the "Ravioli all'Ossobuco e Tartufo," filled with braised veal shank in a luxurious black truffle and mushroom sauce. This dish was the standout of the evening—an absolute must-try! My brother-in-law had the pesto gnocchi with steamed clams, tomatoes, and cheese, which he thoroughly enjoyed. My sister had the Pollo alla Gallurese, which featured pan-seared chicken with prosciutto cotto, mushrooms, and fontina cheese, paired with an incredible eggplant caponata—another hit!

Dessert continued the trend of excellence with an exquisite apple strudel—something I didn't expect at an Italian restaurant but was pleasantly surprised by—along with a delicious lemon custard cake and a perfectly made espresso with a touch of brandy.

The combination of the cozy ambiance, the friendliness and five-star service from Leo (forgive me if I got your name wrong) and the entire staff, the extensive wine list, and the authentic Sardinian dishes make Zone Blu a standout dining experience in Weston. We will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: Because there are so menu pasta choices that do not involve meat and a plethora of fresh vegetable side dishes, not to mention salad options; this is a very good vegetarian choice of restaurant for vegetarians.

Parking: Not going to be difficult at all. The blue lights let you know where the spot is.

Kid-friendliness: You will have zero problems finding something for your children here. The restaurant is busy, but not pretentious, and the noise level tends to be high due to size and patronage.

Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has a bar and an inside which was full, which couldn’t make it a little bit difficult to navigate in a wheelchair, but the tables are square and flat and the floor is even so it is definitely manageable. There is seating outside if one should want that option.

Always a pleasant visit here to Zona Blu when in town for business. This time, I had the Lasagna Bolognese. It was tasty, but I felt it was missing enough meat. I like meat with my pasta; this was a little in the other direction. Nonetheless, I finished it off. The appetizers of the cheese board and grilled octopus did not disappoint. The service was on point. There were about 12 of us, and everyone always had what they wanted. Looking forward to my next visit!

Dining experience was good, food quality was good, and service was really good and friendly. Well the names of food we ordered is mouthful and hard to remember. But I remember the bronzini fish was nicely done not overcooked, fired calamari, truffle pasta, and sea food pasta.
