Fenney Grill Reviews
Went to the Fenny Grill after golf for lunch. 4 people, with a 5th on the way. Restaurant not busy, but the front desk wouldnt allow us to be seated until the 5th was there. Hot and thirsty, we sat on the benches and waited the 10 mins or so until the 5th arrived. Asked for a table again after a bit, and were refused. The desk insisted that this was house policy. Never ran into that at any restaurant before.
When we were eventually escorted to our seats, it was obviously...read full review
Love the location and atmosphere. But the place needs better management. Every time we go in there we have to wait quite a while so the hostess, or one of the other people standing at the hostess station, goes out to clean tables. They oftentimes are short staffed as well so it takes forever to get served. I’ve never seen any restaurant that doesn’t have bussers cleaning the tables right after the diners are done. We’ve sat out on the porch and had 4 or 5 tables next to...read full review
A rare miscue by Fenney Grill this evening. Ordered the Wednesday special, Chicken Roulade. Overcooked chicken, undercooked rice. I won't try that dish again, but I will return. They have the best appetizers.

Fenney Grill offers fine dining in a neat and beautiful setting, with lovely live oaks and a great location. The restaurant has an excellent selection of dishes, including the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, egg salad sandwich, and Chicken Roulade, which are reasonably priced and of good quality. The service is generally attentive, with servers being very helpful, though some guests noted they missed mentioning the special of the day. The food is fresh and delicious, with the best appetizers, though there have been rare miscues like overcooked chicken. The meal experience is lovely and relaxing, especially when dining in the screened lanai overlooking the pool, though some patio chairs need new cushions. Many guests love the amazing atmosphere and return for the fresh, high-quality food.
Guests enjoy their Sundays at Fenney Grill, whether for breakfast or lunch, sitting at the bar and enjoying good food and yummy drinks. The two bartenders, Colleen and Jim, receive praise for their awesome service. Alex, the server, provides great service even when navigating a large group of men drinking at the bar. The loaded bowl of chili is a favorite, and although there was some disappointment about not being able to use a gift card due to a new computer system, the excellent service made up for it. The restaurant also offers catering, delivering fresh, flavorful, and consistent food whether dining in or ordering for a group. The team is professional and reliable, making the whole experience easy. Fenney Grill remains a go-to spot in The Villages for great food and friendly service.
