I have driven by this place several times as this restaurant is located in the Continental Country Club off of Route 44 and thought it was time to give it a try. Arrived for our 5:30PM reservation however hostess will not seat you until your complete party has arrived. So be forewarned your party needs to be complete to be seated. Complimentary Bread & Butter is served. Bread is served warm with an herb butter. Nice ambiance and decor. Noise level is average and the menu is nothing fancy NO Steak items on this menu and after placing our orders not sure why it took almost 1.5 hours for the food to be served. Ordered Crab Cake Entree - Crab cakes (2) to an order served with Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes. The Crab cakes were filled with plenty of Crab meat with not much filler, the only probably was, food was served warm. Pot Roast Entree - Chunks of meat covered with juices and array of vegetables. Again the Pot Roast was flavor-able but just warm. Dessert: Banana Cream Pie - this serving is HUMONGOUS and could easily feed 4 people, the cream topping had drizzle of caramel and pieces of banana thru the pudding. Pepsi products are served and no sweet tea available, just unsweetened Tea with sugar. Probably will not return with service being slow and just warm food. The menu is not extensive so not sure why food is not served HOT!

$$$ It is a nice location in a country club setting. Typical country club dining room nothing exceptional but nothing bad either. Entering the dining room there was no one staffing the hostess stand. A server asked me if I needed help and pointed me to my group. After a short while drink orders were taken. Shortly after the lunch orders were placed. The dining room was fairly empty so it was surprising that we waited for our lunch ... and waited ... and waited. I didn't officially time the wait but it was somewhere in the vicinity of an hour. This was extremely poor service ... someone said the kitchen was understaffed. Everyone at my table said their food was tasty. For the price paid the portions were a little on the small side. Side orders of sweet potato fries were not hot. They brought a second plate of the fries, that were hot and much better. There was live keyboard entertainment that was intrusive and annoying. Although possibly great in another setting it did not enhance our dining experience. There was a surprise surcharge for credit card payment. It wasn't much but I hate being nickel and dimed . Summary: Good food terrible service. Dining experience disappointing. For me this is a one and done.

Friday night went to Paulie’s for the 1st time. Didn’t know we had to make a reservation, now we do. The hostess, waiter and other staff were great. Wonderful entrees on the menu. The duck was very good. Excellent entertainment! Thank you so much for wonderful meal! Will be back to try something different.

We love this restaurant. The ambiance is great and we love the piano player. The service is always exceptional and the food is top notch. You must try the homemade pies!

We went there today for lunch, after checking the website for the menu decided to give it a try. got there and found out they had changed the menu, prices and actual food on the menu.We went all the way down to try their lobster and corn chowder. We were told it wasn't available now until dinner. the waitress was nice enough to ask if we could possibly get some. We got it at the table,.it was two completely cold cups of chowder. they took it back and warmed it, don't know if I even got my own bowl back. We arrived, just before noon, waiting on food, we didn't leave until almost 2:00 in the afternoon. We each got a cup of chowder and a sandwich. My sandwich was the Italian sub it was so subpar, I'm sure I could have gotten a better one at Wawa. They have no sweet tea, I got charged for a bowl of chowder when we specifically ordered a cup. I couldn't even finish the sandwich, the Italian sub roll was dry, the lettuce was bright green bitter shredded, there was about three slices of meat a little bit of shredded onion and a lousy tomato. this is $15.50 without a side...It was not even worth bringing the rest home. I walked out of there with a bill for $31, not including tip, just for my food. I really wanted to like this place but I can promise you I won't be back. The waitress was kind and the only one in the dining room. it was not busy at all when we got there by the time we were served the food there were maybe four tables.. Save your time and money there are much better places to eat. Having managed a restaurant in the past, I am an advocate for restaurants.

We had a ladies luncheon yesterday. What a treat! Cloth tablecloths, carpeting, a nice quiet space where you could actually carry on a conversation, as compared to the noisy country clubs in The Villages. Our meals were fantastic, great service too. And there was entertainment! A terrific pianist and singer, I wish I had gotten his name.

My veal was a disappointment. It seemed like it was slices and not cutlets. But, the Tiramisu is excellent.

Had dinner in December with a group of friends. Everyone loved their meal! Our server was Whitney, and there aren't enough words to describe her awesomeness, but I'll try....professional, precise, warm, friendly, funny, lovely!!!! Cheers to Whitney!!!!Dietary restrictions: The heart smart salad was delish!

A great place for lunch or dinner. The food and service are both excellent. The atmosphere is a little more upscale than a lot of restaurants in The Villages with white tablecloths. And we really like that the noise level let's you actually have a conversation!
