This place was incredible. The ribs were CRAZY, the outside crust and tenderness on the inside is bone licking good. I wish I lived on this side to come more often. I ordered the Mac n cheese with brisket and bowl with rice & ribs and Mac n cheese. It was all delicious, recommend it 1000%

Came with my family and we literally ordered everything on the menu and tried everything.
Brisket- melts in your mouth so damn good
Chicken- sauce is amazing and meat so tender
Pork- just get it
Rice and beans- seasoning on the rice is on point and the beans have the perfect smokiness
Potatoe salad- don’t tell my mom, it’s better than hers
Mac and cheese- don’t tell my grandma, it’s better than hers.
Banana pudding- didn’t get to try it CUZ EVERYONE ATE IT

First time trying Fat G's and I was glad I stopped in! I got the Brisket Mac and Cheese bowl and a Rib dinner with baked beans and potato salad for my 2 sides. Let me tell you that this man knows how to make a hungry person happy! Both meals were bursting with flavor and tenderness. I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good BBQ, not these chain crap restaurants.

Fat G's BBQ caterer an event we helped host for a dear family friend. It was a Celebration of Life at her personal home in Crystal River. They were very accommodating from putting together the menu all the way through set-up & service. Their team showed up on time, were polite, professional & the food was hot, well seasoned & got raving reviews from guests. It was served perportionally to insure all were fed for an event where expected headcount was undefined. They did a great job of managing that & then turning it over to self-serve for those who wanted more. They kept the area clean & helped sure everything was to our liking before they left. The owner even called me the next day to ask about the service & make sure we were satisfied. We 1,000% recommend Fat G's BBQ for your next event. Had Greg do the catering for our wedding and it was a smash hit. The pulled pork was rich and succulent and the Mac and cheese will never disappoint. The stuffed chicken was juicy and delicious. We got so many compliments on how the food tasted and Greg and his staff were perfectly professional and kind. Greg personally made sure we got our plates and were able to enjoy them fully as well as checking on us frequently to make sure my wife and I had enough to eat and drink. Magnificent catering service.
