As of July 2022, Green Shutters Closed and is now purchased by new owner. They are ReModeling inside and will have a new name. Not sure of the grand opening date. We are hoping it will be so much better!

We Missed!!!! Searched TA for restaurants in Williston and selected Green Shutters after reviewing customer input and looking up operating hours. Well we arrived at about 1 PM looking for lunch and they were "shuttered"--yup closed up tight. If you are going display your hours and lead folks to believe you are open then you should be open barring some crisis!!! Looking back on TA reviews and talking to folks in the area, this restaurant has a history of "not being open"! We moved on down the road for a quick bite but would caution folks, this place is definitely not dependable!!!

Today, I gave green shutters a second try, I ate there with some coworkers a few months ago and we weren’t really impressed. However, this time, a coworker went there to pick up the food and brought it back. The burger was not cooked all the way so I called and explained the situation and was told “I know the kitchen worker and she wouldn’t send out food unless it’s close to burnt” therefore I needed to bring my burger in to have it replaced. I agreed but no longer had an appetite for a burger so I asked for fried chicken instead and was offered the kids chicken nuggets because “the fried chicken meal is twice the amount of the burger” which once I arrived I checked the menu and that was not the case. The fried chicken meal was a 2 dollar difference, which in most cases I wouldn’t have mind paying. However, the customer service atmosphere is always to do your best to please a customer. I now have to take an extended break to go to the restaurant to have my meal replaced but the inconvenience wasn’t worth 2 dollars to make a customer happy. This just wasn’t a great experience.

Me and my wife go to random mom and pop restaurant a lot as day dates found this along the trip I would give it 4.7 fast and friendly service , fairly priced , food was very good

Haven't been to Williston in years. Had lunch at Green Shutters Restaurant. Don't let the "old look" of it stop you from eating there. One of those small town friendly places, filled with locals who know they have great prices and good food. Great hamburgers, chicken fried steak, sweet potatoes fries, cucumber salad, Lima beans, giant cups of great coffee.

Very nice local spot in an old building. Don't let the full parking lot deter you as it's bigger inside than we expected. Staff was friendly and menu had a good variety of choices. My husband had the steak salad and I had a burger. Both were hot and fresh. Prices were fair.
