I didn't know what to expect for coffee in Williston but I had to come here when I saw the fun and unique name... "Sad Donkey"!! It's a clean small to-go cafe that can be found via GPS as it's not on a main road. I parked right out front and popped in to order. Everyone I met was super nice and welcoming and my double espresso gave me the jolt of tasty energy I needed after hiking! They have a clean bathroom in a separate building... just ask like I did. As for the unhappy donkey, I had to ask what that was about. Apparently, the owner's horse looks like a sad donkey when it's left out in the rain and gets soaked and depressed... I don't know what a sad donkey looks like but now I'm quite curious. Anyone have a picture of a sad donkey? Life is good with good coffee and a bummed out donkey! Be happy donkey!

Micro café in Williston. I have only stopped by a few times but I'm always struck by how personable the staff are. The chitchat is as lovely as the coffee. They have a typical menu of lattes, frappes, teas, hot cocoa. There is also an area to sit outside.

I’m not from the area but needed a good coffee while staying with my husband’s grandparents, they drink decaf. I found this place by looking up local coffee shops and they didn’t disappoint. At the time I was the only person in the shop, it was a Saturday afternoon and the barista was very personable and even asked if I wanted to add anything after tasting it.

I ordered the signature drink. It was not bad. I came into the shop with two others, the register area is really only big enough for maybe two at a time, but that's kind of the whole schtick with this place so that did not go into my stars.Very nice Screened in outdoor area. Enjoyed that the most on a cool, crisp, Florida Fall morning.The barista seemed a little unhappy. We speculated maybe that's where the place got it's name.
