This is a spot you must go to if you’re in the Wilton Manors area. We were greeted by the small business owner who thought we were a party that had canceled. We quickly knew he loved his place. Rocco was our waiter. He was a blast and happy to be serving us on Christmas Eve. He was patient and gave us suggestions. Food was all good, prices very reasonable and very attentive staff. Decorations were beautiful. Plain and simple. 5 star. Hope to visit again.

The food was ok. Salad was just balsamic on a few lettuce. And the garlic bread was good. Very garlicky. The main courses were bland. And you have to have reservations for main dining which is not good because empty seats but reservation required so we had to sit in the bar area next door. Not a good impression. I won't be back. The ambiance was abysmal best to go elsewhere.

Vile pizza. If you want good pizza go to verinos. This shit is worse than 7/11 pizza. Cheese falls right off, dough tastes like shit and is undercooked. I even tried salvaging by putting in the broiler at home. Nope! Still tastes like shit. Absolutely do not waste your money. Disgusting. And in response to buddy that replied: no it was definitely your pizza if you can call it that. And I don't care if it hurts your feelings lol I've had better frozen pizza.

Love coming here for their great food and atmosphere. Staff are nice and helpful. Prompt service. I love their spaghetti carbonara. I look forward to eating here again.

As many have expressed on here, the staff and management are rude and slow. We did not stay to eat as there are so many other options in the area. They don't have parking and their bar is stocked with cheap liquor I'd never heard of. I tried to give this place a try but from the rude bartender to the rude manager, we decided to take a pass and walked off. We ended up at Apartment 9F down the street and found it to be a great restaurant with the nicest staff, amazing food and great vibes.
Tonight was our 1st visit to Bona Italian, won't be our last. Arrived in time for Happy Hour. We were welcomed by Mark , one of the owners, at the bar. Could not have been nicer or more welcoming. Dinner was awesome. I had the veal saltimbocca, my husband had the short rib special. Service was great., sorry I didn't get his name. Mark, stopped by our table to make sure all was good. Looking forward to coming back soon.

What was once a reliable place to enjoy a good Italian meal is no longer! Went Sunday night for the first time in several years for my birthday specifically for the Eggplant Rollatini , that I used to order regularly. The eggplant was overcooked, burnt and chewy, the tomato sauce was sweeter than most desserts, the garlic in my pasta sauce was overcooked to the point of being burnt, and, the prosciutto, a key ingredient to this dish was so sparse it was practically nonexistent. Clearly, the new management have chosen to sacrifice quality of food that had made this place a favorite of mine in the past.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale! We've been two nights on this trip, as the food is that good! Both of our waiters, Matthew and Tony were incredible, and their suggestions were amazing. We're not staying in Wilton Manors, but it's only a short 20 min Lyft drive from the main beach/hotel area. Very easy! A must try!
