Had both lunch and evening tapas on a different evening. The food was outstanding. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a cuban sandwich for lunch and it was one of the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself has a very european (Spanish) vibe).

Low key Spanish/Tapas restaurant - went for tapas all around - definitely will be back again. Never felt rushed, and wait staff was there when you wanted them but no pressure to order more or to turn the table. Great evening.

Very local! I think the chef/owner may be a mad genius. The service is decent, service is a bit slow and the ambiance may be lacking. But the steak I got was sensational!

Candelas is my favorite part of vacationing in Ft. Lauderdale. The food is made with love and there isn't an item on the menu that isn't expertly prepared. I have yet to find a more authentic restaurant in all of Florida and we recommend it to anyone we know ow is visiting or living in the area. The owners and staff could not be more warm and inviting.
