Honestly - I feel chills writing this review. I saw so many good reviews and was so happy to try out that place. I ordered tuna sandwich and iced matcha latte. Matcha was terrible - food grade, almost brownish color so you can imagine the taste- I asked for almond milk but I am pretty sure the lady did not add the almond milk but normal one. Tuna sandwich was a joke. It was literally one slice of bread with some spring mix and cold tuna salad with huge chunks of onion that wasn’t seasoned properly so I am happy I asked for the hot sauce - otherwise it wouldn’t go through my throat. I took to go and I was in a hurry so I didn’t go back to talk to them. $20 for terrible breakfast :/ Safe to say I am not coming back there.

There are not enough adjectives to describe how much I adore this place! I have been a patron since they first opened. The coffee choices are a wonder for any coffee drinker. The food is prepared to order and equally good, you will find something different than at the standard breakfast and lunch spots. Sunday mornings tend to get very busy. This is a great place to bring a friend who is new to the area. I feel surrounded by good energy and nice vibe every time I come. For me a it is a treat for the soul and my personal recharging station.

Reviews were great and menu was intriguing. Completely exceeded my expectations when we got there! We split a croissant sandwhich with the chefs breakfast (tater tot waffle loaded with egg and avocado). The iced coffee came with coffee flavored ice cubes and was incredible! There js plenty of seating around the Cafe in a neat little patio environment. The menu seems pricey however the portion sizes were plenty for what you pay. I highly recommend this place for food and coffee!

What a great way to start the day. Such a cute welcoming atmosphere. The garden and patio are so neat and eclectic. Amazing iced coffee. Darling employees who welcome you home when you arrive. We had a fantastic time. This is the kind of place you come and take your time at and enjoy the peace and vibes. Love it!!

Nice atmosphere. Good food. Wish they would stop using plastic utensils and take away boxes. Staff seems tired and not happy.

Stood in a relatively short line of about 6 people for over 45 minutes. Staff moved slow as molasses. No one seemed to care that no one was working.

I wanted to believe in the great reviews. It’s a beautiful spot for breakfast. So many problems though. 1) we walked into the main order area (though we weren’t sure). The young lady at the register was preoccupied with printing orders and after standing there for a few minutes of not being acknowledged, I asked if we were in the right place. She had a short affirmative reply. We waited. A man came out seeming more concerned and took the order. 2) we ordered our food and went to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. The food came in like 5 minutes (fresh?). We ordered lattes that had yet to show up. My lady’s salmon was tasty and that’s where the compliments end. I ordered the chef’s breakfast. I cook for a living and I know tater tot’s don’t cook as fast as this came out. It was dry, the eggs were fried WELL - dry, the tots were dry, the toppings were totally dry. I ate with my self serve water quenching my thirst. 3) as I’m not really enjoying my breakfast we’re still wondering where the lattes are. I got up to ask twice. We’re on our final bites before the drinks arrive. The drinks finally arrive and it’s too dark for a latte, and there are coffee grounds (a lot) floating in the bottom. The ice cubes are made of coffee (great idea(except they’re full of coffee grounds also)). 4) you have customers waiting for service with no communication, drinks not arriving with no communication, and a customer getting up to communicate and not receiving much communication, and the food hasn’t a care given to it. I assumed they were a new restaurant because nobody seemed to care nor know what they were doing. 20 minutes latte? Terrible. I asked another place to get coffee that didn’t have coffee grounds in their coffee what the deal was. It seemed like a joke to them (like they’d heard it before). Their coffee was terrible as well(they raised the bar by comparison though)… have yet to have a good coffee in Florida. Final thoughts; I’m not shy about expressing my discontent with establishments, but with so much going wrong and a total lack of concern, where does one start? What I know for a kitchen though is that communication is a fundamental necessity for the whole staff.

Feb 2022, came here with friends after picking them up from the Airport. The outside is charming, lots of greenery, plenty of tables. Inside is cute too. We loved the Red Roster wandering around the tables outside, I felt as if I were on a farm. When you arrive, orders are taken inside, and the person behind the register gives you a number then the server brings your meal to the table. The Chicken on a waffle with a hot honey sauce was delicious according to our friend. My English Muffin with Egg, Turkey, cheese and Avocado was also delicious, worth the cost $8.58. My friend ordered the Regular Waffle that was fresh and delicious tasting for $9.27, and extra charge of 35 cents for a few Strawberries. Thinking back at the price of the Waffle order my friend thought it was a little too pricey. My friends Iced coffee charge was $6.76 that to me is a little excessive, it is like being at Starbucks. My percolated coffee at $4.94 was delicious, however I was surprised that they charged me .26 cents for Whole Milk. All and all, loved this place, reminds my of being in Woodstock, NY, and keep in mind that any add on to your meal they will charge you an extra cost. So, I would ask them next time if there is a extra charge for whatever I order.

We stopped off for a quick lunch and ended up with two of the open faced sandwiches. (Can’t recall what they call them.) I got the Mediterranean and it was incredible and HUGE. Don’t know how they packed so much flavor into just a sandwich! Love the natural feel to the place due to all the plants & trees. Definitely worth a visit!

Found this gem via blogs that kept mentioning it as a must try when in Ft Lauderdale. Loved the atmosphere and the food was incredible! Seemed to be a local hangout which is how you know it’s a place to be. We had the Chefs Breakfast, croissant, alchemist coffee and Nutella Slicer and every single thing was incredible. Highly recommend!

Yeah, this place is definitely cute. Their outside patio is stuff of dreams, very green with plenty of shade and seating. Food could be better; this kind of places are popular thanks to their vibe, rather than the actual quality of the menu. Located next to a couple other cute outdoors cafes as well.

I've heard about this place for several years and finally made it. The food is good (I had the chocolate chip waffle) but the outdoor garden atmosphere is fantastic. I hope the surrounding little boutiques shops/stalls open again soon.

The Alchemist iced coffee was my treat for the day. Based on the ingredients, it’s not the healthiest, but what a delight it was on a hot day. I loved the inclusion of brown sugar. My side salad had a gracious portion of avocado, and it came with toasted bread. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Order and pay inside; they will bring you your order.

I was hoping to write a positive review on this restaurant. Their website is cute and trendy but that is pretty much where it ends. I got a $20.00 gift certificate from a family member to try this place out before Covid happened. I did not feel comfortable going to restaurants just yet, so I waited. I went today and brought a friend. I tried to redeem the gift certificate only to be told that I could not because it looked counterfeit. Yup! I asked to speak with a manager regarding the issue. The manager came out however another employee (not manager) stopped what they were doing to give me his feedback on the matter. He implied that I could have easily bought a dollar store certificate and wrote their company's name on it. Maybe he thought I looked like a criminal? I take pride in being an honest person, but it would have been easier for someone to just dispute the charges through their credit card company instead of making a counterfeit $20.00 certificate. Also keep in mind this was in front of their counter with other customers behind me. I was personally offended by his statement and I did not appreciate being accused. The certificate had an employee's signature, their company name and cert# on it. The whole interaction made me feel uncomfortable. The manager showed me their newly designed certificates (just released post covid) which looks the same but with their specific location and date line added. Then proceeded to tell me the old ones expire after 6 months of issue. I WAS SUPER CONFUSED BECAUSE BOTH CERTIFICATES DON'T HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE LINE!?! The female owner also got involved and agreed to honor their certificate because they felt I was holding up the line. I'm glad that this company did step up and honor their certificate. However, this interaction did not have to escalate or become so public. Alienating your customers is not going to help your business grow especially when customers rely so heavily on review sites. I gave them a 2 out of 5 because the food was decent and ice coffee was good. I would not recommend this place to others because it was insulting to be called a counterfeiter. If you are going to visit this establishment a couple of helpful pointers; parking spaces are limited (try to get there before 9am on the weekend) and probably forego getting a certificate to avoid the drama.
