I don’t usually come here but I know it’s been here a while and has a good rep for pizza. I just needed a quick slice for dinner for the night. Waited a good 15 min in a short line. Ordered a single slice of cheese from a very nice woman. Finally ready. Cashier sees my cash out ready to pay and says, “oh great, you’re paying cash? So that will be…$5.75.” At first I wasn’t paying attention. So then I clarified that $5.75 is the cash price for the slice of pizza. She said it was. I was dead sober and my jaw dropped. Native Floridian also a New Yorker and the pizza on my block in the city is half the price, double the size, and WAY better. My intent wasn’t to compare it to NY pizza. But for a plain single cheese regular slice, this price is outrageous. I showed her the slice with like half uncovered in cheese, thin crust, so I’m not really sure where their overhead is coming from. She blamed it on pandemic, I respectfully declined that argument for 2024 for pizza. They are gouging prices for being a pizza place in a plaza full of bars late on a weekend night. Of course. Be honest though. You’re ripping your customers off. I actually didn’t have enough cash on hand, I though $5 would be more than enough. I paid with card for an up charge to a total of $6.12! It was violating. This isn’t an airport, a football game, a concert, and your pizza really isn’t THAT good. I know this post is snarky and petty, but I genuinely felt knowingly taken advantage of, but now I know for next time. ?

Pizza is not good anymore. Was told mozzarella cheese was a "topping" and was charged as if I got an actual topping. Was also told it would be $30 for a whole pie, and it would benefit us to buy by the slice. That's so they could charge for everything but the dough. I would check your receipt before signing anything. Seems like drunk owner is charging whatever she wants at any given time, as no prices are listed.

Last year, in 2023, I visited Nick's Pizzarelli when visiting Wilton Manors with friends. I had a bad experience with the pizza in 2023 when I was visiting the area, and I sent Nick's Pizza note via Facebook Messenger to explain the situation.I received a very polite reply at the time that said next time you're in the area which would be in 2024 that I should stop in and get two complimentary pieces of pizza for my troubles in 2023.When I went to the restaurant recently in 2024, I spoke to the staff member on duty and she asked me to contact the owner. I contacted him again through Facebook Messenger and by telephone call. When he called back, he was very rude and said he would call the police if I did not leave his restaurant immediately. I did nothing to provoke this response. I was simply following up on the polite Facebook Messenger message I received from last year. The response from Nick's Pizza was total about face from the polite and courteous response I received via Facebook Messenger in 2023.While I would have given them credit for making reasonable attempts last year to make me a satisfied customer, they totally failed me this year. Why a pizza owner would threaten me that he would call the police for my doing nothing is poor customer service.I cannot recommend Nick's Pizza, especially for how it treated this customer and they did not resolve my problem from the previous year.I am a very disappointed customer.

DRUNK/IMPAIRED OWNER RUNS THE PLACE! I'D STAY AWAY!My partner and I stopped by this joint on Fri March 1st for a slice of pizza. The pizza we received was barely warm, furthermore I realized that we were charged for extra toppings we never asked for/ or received. I went back to the counter and tried to bring it up to the personnel, however the owner could not even comprehend what I was telling her, furthermore I noticed she was barely standing and almost fell down, that's when I realized that she was under influence. After trying again and again to explain what the issue was I gave up and left the place. Should've called the police on her!

I’ve been coming here for years. Since 2015. The pizza it’s pretty good which is why I keep coming back. But after the last incident of my favorite staple pizzas places may no longer be a recommendation on my list to visit when in s.fl. I come in for a large pizza and that particular day on a Sunday evening the nicks typical crowd from the near by bars dragged a few drunk or high individuals in decided along with the cashier. The girl with the ponytail. Along with her high friends she who looked intoxicated that day proceeded to chat & exchange numbers as the line of hungry customers began to grow. Almost wrapping around the pizza bar. To help with the line. I and a friend who now became a believer of nicks pizza we moved behind the chatty friends to allow more customers in the line. Seeing that they talkative friends were almost closing out my friend moved forward so he wouldn’t get missed in the busy line. Trying to order our food next the now “coherent” cashier looks at my friend and a customer who was standing next by, a white man and my friend was a black man. The cashier begins to look at who should be first and starts taking the white man who came after use order. We acknowledge that we were came first and that we were waiting behind her friends tell us to go to the back of line to order. We had been there now 15mins. We continued to say we were here and asked the individual who carelessly forgot we were before him brushes us off and says oh you can go. Mine you we come get get pizza there like clock work and know you pay for your pizza first and than order. The wild part is even the old pizza maker asked if we told the cashier if we told her first. This is this must have been one of the most embarrassing and frustrating moments for me, even worst being in a city that embraces equality rights that being black should be my least concern. Like all good things I would hate to put this place to rest for the bad service . I would hate for anyone to experience this. So beware if your shade is a little dark when coming to try a staple pizza joint

What a joke. They charge $6 for a small (but tasty)slice of pizza and then force you to buy a bottle of water since they won't give you a cup of water. Even in NYC they give you a cup of water. Unfortunately they take advantage of consumers who coming from the bars. And they also charge a premium if you use credit card. Never encountered that before.

Needs more staff to handle the seasonal crowds... The line to get a slice was 30min long.

Typical drunk-pizza. This is not the kind of place you go to sober, its the I want to stay out and party but need something fast to soak up some liquor type of pizza.

Better pizza than most places, particularly the thin crust, pizza by the slice is heated to perfection, and delicious.Thank you so much for being open when I came in at 1:15 a.m., and whomever the lady was working at the register today, early a.m. Saturday the 18th thank you for putting up with the inebriated man arguing, you handled it well being firm but professional.

This pizza is the worst. I ordered a beer and a regular cheese slice. When she handed me the pizza on that flimsy paper plate, burned my fingers it was so hot and fell. I threw it out and even cleaned the mess up. When I ordered another slice, I told her to give extra plates for durability. If you were a decent respectable establishment, I wouldn't have been charged for the second slice. It's not like the price of a slice of cheese pizza will hurt your bottom line monetarily. Accidents happen. Her response was " your the first person that's dropped pizza, and I have to charge you". I only ate half the pizza slice. It was horrible. Let's see how much longer this place lasts. The previous pizza place at same location didn't make it.
