Everything worked well. The waiter Troy was absolutely great. Food was delivered quickly and everything was really good.

A great evening of drinks, dinner, dessert, entertainment and service at Tropics. Emma, our server was the absolute best with personality and service. Thanks to all!

We had an amazing experience at the Tropics Grille. We sat in the Caberet Room and listened to an incredible singer. Franzer was outstanding. His singing was top notch and his personality intoxicating. We couldn't have had a better evening for our anniversary. Bravo!

Wr reserved for 9 pm we were sitting at 9:45. They accompanied lots of guests that they arrived after us. We were there at 8:45. I made reservation two weeks before on Open table. I went to the restaurant to be sure that everything was ok. In that moment, they had only few reservations. They place us not close of the show, we were appart. Bad experience because two years ago, we enjoyed the place and the evening.

Great restaurant for a nice dinner with a nightly piano bar entertainment in the cabaret room. It is mostly an LGBT clientele. Food is great. Service varies. Overall very satisfied for the value

I did not know when I made my reservations a couple of week prior that there was a set menu for Thanksgiving. I thought that a regular menu would be available. I have gluten allergies and was happy to see that they offered many GF options on the menu. Having worked in the restaurant industry a few years ago, I recognized the "get the table served so that you can turn it quickly" attitude. We had driven from SW Florida for the week and were looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving at this restaurant. With the limited choices, and watching my gluten diet, I was able to eat 2 pieces of grouper, a little on the dried and tough side, and a scoop of mashed potatoes. I was not able to eat the green bean casserole, nor the dessert. Yet I was still charged $45 for meal. On a positive note, my partner had the full turkey dinner and said it was delicious. The server was running everywhere and a couple of his tables, along with me, were upset with the service and/or the time to get things asked for. I had also tapped on the anniversary tab when I made the reservations and the gentleman who seated us noted that. I did not know what to expect from that, but nothing was mentioned or done to help us celebrate an important date. In general, a very disappointing meal and experience. My partner would like to try this restaurant again during our next stay in Wilton Manors. I need to think about it a lot before agreeing. I am upset with the way the evening turned out. I hope other customers did not have the same kind of experience that we had.

First time guest. Thanksgiving dinner was disappointing. Charming place will try it on a nonholiday day again.

Four of us dined here on Thursday evening. I booked a table in the Main Dining room, and we were seated in the cabaret performance space. The food here is good, and service is friendly. We all started with salads which were huge, a meal in itself, our main dishes were a well-prepared steak, tender short ribs, classic meatloaf and chicken marsala. We all enjoyed our dishes. Tonight service was a bit haphazard as everyone was seated before the performance started and there were two large tables in the room, add to that patrons dancing in the aisles, and the servers did the best they could. I would recommend sitting on the opposite side of the restaurant if you want to converse with your dining companions. From 7-9 a duo was singing a playlist of popular songs, mostly from the past. Tropics is a gay bar and restaurant and in addition to food and drink, they offer a valuable service to the LGBT community. It was reassuring to see so many women there this night, as I have found in my 20 years of living in Wilton Manors, LGBT venues are mostly patronized by men.

When I presented to the host and stated that I had a reservation from OpenTable, he said, "I told them not to take any more reservations; you need to call the restaurant." Very disorganized reservation/host.

The night started by a staff member named Shawn who was super courteous and sweet (and handsome too) by holding the door open for my friends and I as we entered Tropics. We went for a show (Holly Faris) who was just magnificent and so entertaining‼️🎬🎭👏🏼 Our server Muhammad was superb and just so attentive and may I say gorgeous too‼️ The food was outstanding and all of us enjoyed whatever we ordered and I was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant and staff who we interacted with‼️👍🏼👏🏼
