Via Vai is a lovely Italian restaurant that reminds my wife and I of similar places throughout Europe - a small, authentic Italian spot run by family. I think some may see panini on the menu and think this is a simple sandwich spot when it's so much more!

Amazing and delicious Italian food in a welcoming environment. We enjoyed a bruschettone, Toscana panini, and lasagna, and ate every bite. We will definitely come back and support such a much needed authentic italian food on the drive.

What a phenomenal journey this evening has been. We walked along the Drive and found this location just on a whim. Walked into a perfect Wine Bar setting and greeted by the 2 lovely owners. Antonella shared so many stories of her family in Italy and we felt as if we were immersed in the beauty of Milano, Italy. We had a Regular size Tagliere Charcuterie with Bresaola, Soppresata, Mortedella, Pancetta and Speck and Mozzarella, Asiago and Primo Sale pepato.Through the evening we were blessed with family tales of Italy and I must say I felt so immersed into the experience that I have to recommend this restaurant for a wine lover. You must understand: Italy is not just a pasta and pizza locale. It is about the wine and the meats and the bread and the cheese. Immerse yourself for an hour or two and enjoy the board offered by ViaVai and ask Antonella her and husband to tell you a tale of their Italian childhood.I promise. You will not be let down.EXQUISITE.

I ordered the lasagna and meatballs. It was 12 dollars for 3 average size meatballs which would have been fine if they weren't dry and super underseasoned. The lasagna came cold and super soggy with very little cheese. I'm amazed this place has such good reviews. If you are thinking of ordering food from don't. It's a complete waste of money. In response to the reply. I never said the ingredients weren't good. The meatballs were dry and underseasoned. They tasted like they didn't even have salt. The lasagna shouldn't be soggy regardless of whether the food is hot or cold. There was barely any cheese. Restaurants accommodate for delivery, they usually put items that travel well so even if the food is cold for whatever reason it is not soggy. There are much better Italian places for delivery and maybe it is done well at the restaurant but I would not recommend for it delivery. The fact that they used such good ingredients and couldn't produce quality is even scarier.

The best and most authentic Italian restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. Great atmosphere and incredibly friendly owners. I’m never disappointed. 5 stars from me.

What a nice surprise. Lived in neighborhood for 15 months and did not realize this wonderful place existed. Low key establishment. Pleasant change from the overpriced low quality food / service of restaurants in Wilton Manors. Nice to be treated as a valued guest. Food was excellent and the whole experience to be repeated soon. Great place for a more initiate get together with friends.

A visit to vía vai is like a trip to northern Italy. The charm is only beat by the food and wine. Simone and Antonella are generous hosts. The lasagna is world class - cannot be beat on this side of the Atlantic. JUST GO!

Via via is my favorite place for authentic Italian dishes. Try the "slurp" beer from Italy... delicious!

What a wonderful wine night with the bestie!!! Found this in on Yelp and decided to make this our wine stop. We had the Burrata salad, bread and wine of course!!! We got treated to chips as well!! Everything was delicious and I loved the ambience- reminded me of Europe. Such a cute, charming spot I definitely recommend this spot.

We always have a great time. The wine and beer is delicious and genuinely Italian. The food they serve is also tasty and you feel like you're getting as truly authentic dish.
