Cute little place. It’s like going back in time. Expect a wait. Seems like a very popular place amongst the locals.

This place is my absolute favorite! My family and I found it as tourists and now frequent it as locals! Great mom and pop place in the charming area of downtown Windermere. Highly recommend!

I can easily recommend the Breakfast Burrito, Brisket Hash, or the MacDaddy Scramble. I’ve had them all.

Food is yummy and well-priced!! Easy to stay around $10-15/per person for a SOLID breakfast. Home fries were extra crispy!! The pancakes were pretty average. The vibes are great, feels homey. Service was quick & staff were so friendly. A great local & long-standing place to check out!
Parking: Plenty of parking that is shared with the other businesses, street parking close by if needed.

Arrived t noon. Party of 2. Was told 20 minute wait, it was 30. Then waited another 40 minutes for breakfast. Eggs Benedict as good. Omelette was satisfactory. Hadn’t planned on an hour and 45 minutes for what should have been a quick breakfast.

This little place is really cute! Unfortunately, the food wasn’t good. I mean, it could have been except everything tasted like dirty dish rag. My fiancé and I tried each others food and it certainly was unmistakable and unpleasant. It was the strangest thing. I had the salmon Benedict and he had a brisket plate. He also noted that the brisket tasted like pot roast and was under seasoned. The dirty dish rag may have been in the breads? It’s hard to say. If they were cleaner I feel like it would be fantastic!
They also burnt the heck out of a few batches of bacon while we were there which made us stink after leaving.
Our server seemed very attentive to her regulars, so I’m sure she was nice. We didn’t see much of her tho.
Shame it wasn’t better.

My Daughter in law recommended Dixie Cream Cafe, but was a bit hesitant because of my history as a Michelin Chef, and Restaurant Owner. I enjoyed the Steak and eggs, while my wife had The French Toast. I so enjoyed eating there that we came back for a second day in a row. I had the homemade Corned Beef Hash and eggs, while my had scrambled eggs and bacon and sourdough toast. Each day was provided with wonderful homemade food, with great service, and plenty of smiles. I do think that the food prices are reasonably priced.

This was one of my favorite places to brunch either with my kids or friends. This last night I brought a friend from out of town. I usually get the famous banana fosters. This time was not the same like usual. The flambé was more like cold bananas tossed in like warm syrup. So I did ask for them to remake it and the waitress didn’t even try to fix it….she said “no it’s gonna come back just like that” and refused to even take it off the table?! Also the request for soft scramble eggs turnt into dry eggs.
My friend got the avacado smash; and that barely look like they smashed it? Peeled and thrown on top of the toast more like it?
So needless to say IF I go back I won’t be waited on by her but it messed up my desire to even want to go back. And

First time trying this place and I will
DEFINITELY be back! Cute cafe with the taste of fresh and homemade. The key lime pie is the best key lime pie I have ever had and really everything we tried was absolutely incredible. Thank you Stephanie for making mine and my families day! Can’t wait to come back and try more of the delicious food!
