Jumbo Sushi

The food here has always been hit or miss, but we used to come here specifically for Josh’s service. He was amazing and always made us feel warm and welcome. And made the best food when he was in the kitchen. Now he’s gone, there’s no point in returning.

The service is slow and the food is mediocre at best. Until Josh comes back, we won’t be 👎

This place is hit or miss. Some of the items in the menu are great, and some really miss the mark. For example, the Miso Raman is described as containing braised pork belly but is instead served with a weird sausage (picture attached). I ordered door dash so the broth came on the side, which is nice, but the sausage looked really gross (I didn’t try it).

This is usually my favorite sushi restaurant. The food and service have always been excellent, but today I was disappointed. I ordered my favorite dish, the Steak Fried Rice, to go. I was surprised at how quickly the food came out. However, the steak was far from being freshly cooked, as they always do. It looked like old meat that they chopped and placed on top of the rice. A very bad experience today.

Overall this restaurant is pretty good, but I tend to stick to the same meals (sushi and soup). The sushi is great, so is the soup, desert, and gyoza. I think that the atmosphere here was good too as it has nice music with lovely staff, but it was a bit pricey.

Please get some atmosphere some music better lighting something. It's so depressing in there.

Has been my favorite sushi restaurant for about 7 years now, I’m glad I live a few minutes away. Josh is such a personable guy and we look forward to him being our server when we dine in. He even made me a roll that was discontinued from the menu. I really hope this place thrives as the owner, staff and food is amazing.

This used to be my favorite place to get sushi it’s always been delicious and reasonably priced. Always been my go to even though it’s a 30 minute drive from my house it’s always been worth it. Hate that they changed the menu even if you order off the old menu it’s not the same. There was a fair about of water in my salad tonight…. The ginger dressing is not the same even though they say it is. The old one was orange and had little ginger chunks in it… the new one is dark brown and tastes different in every time you get it. The sushi is still delicious but sadly tonight was mostly rice. I hope they change everything back. I’m assuming others agree since my we were the only people there.

We had the gyoza and crispy tuna appetizers, the miso ramen and chicken teriyaki bowl. They were all delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!!
