Look, this isn't a place where, especially when it's busy, you're going to get the fastest, most attentive service. It happens. That's the restaurant business. What you will get here is a beautiful atmosphere, and if you order one of the towers, some banger tea, sandwiches, and chocolate. It's not a place you should be in a rush whilst in. Sit down, enjoy your tea, munch on some chocolate, have a nice conversation, and lower your cortisol levels.

Charming place with perfectly balanced flavors!

I visited AJ Chocolate House in Winter Park and had a wonderful experience. I tried the Dubai-style chocolate cheesecake and some dark chocolates, and everything was absolutely delicious. What I loved the most is that nothing was overly sweet or overwhelming the flavors were rich, smooth, and well-balanced.

The place itself is cozy, beautiful, and very inviting, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy. Perfect for treating yourself or picking up a unique gift. I’ll definitely be coming back!

For a long time I always wanted to come to this place but unfortunately it was a very bad decision I was very disappointed I came on a Wednesday morning when everything is supposed to be clean and fresh and the customer service is super friendly since they should be more rested than usual to offer customer service I returned a butter croissant since it was cold and had a taste that was not fresh the place was super elegant but more than that the prices for the service were a little high I definitely would not return 😞

We love the ambiance and the food was outstanding! The only thing that keeps it from a chic place is that you need to order your food at the counter.

Bithja with Offline - Went on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was nice. The decor was cute. The inside seats are VERY low unless you use the 1 high top. 2 single stall restrooms. The cosmopolitan was delicious. Cashless establishment. THE APPLE & BRIE CROISSANT: should be renamed the Brie Croissant with the apple being added in the ingredients right before the honey drizzle. The sandwich was very good but there was 1, maybe 2, slices of apple in the whole croissant so it was misleading. The added crunch would've been a very nice balance to the softness of everything else. THE PROSCIUTTO AND FIG CROISSANT: same issue as above. Should be renamed the Prosciutto Croissant with the fig being added in the ingredients below. There was a smear/swipe of fig in the middle of the sandwich that you could almost miss if you're not paying attention. Still a good sandwich, just not for what it is named. THE HOUSE SALAD: The chocolate Vinegarette was unexpected and delicious. Paired well with the cheese and strawberries. For being a place where you can sit down and enjoy the environment, I feel like having patrons pay up front limits their income possibility. Sitting at the table, not in a rush to leave, I am more likely to order another drink or grab a slice of cake I wasn't anticipating. But to have to swipe my card for every transaction deters me from ordering more. Maybe open tabs for your guests and keep their card until they check out at the end?

You have to be in the mood for a place like this - you can just walk in and get your chocolate fix to go, but if you stay and eat, a few things to consider - the "drinks" with alcohol are apparently all made with wine (think Costco Egg Nog or Margaritas) - no vodka in the espresso martinis. The food is tasty but nothing to get excited about. My wife and I went for the "tea service" which included various items, including tea (excellent, actually) and some cut up sandwiches and sweets. It was a nice novelty, and I will keep it in mind for something different, but not as a restaurant choice.

My wife and I had a fantastic time there on our weekly date. She went to Spain a few years ago with our daughter and said how amazing the food was and I found a place that closest resembles her experience food wise as in Spain. Great flavors that complemented each other and the atmosphere was relaxing and intimate.

My daughter and I absolutely loved our time here at AJ Chocolate House! The food, ambiance, and of course the chocolate were wonderful! The man at the checkout was so very helpful in our selection of chocolates (there are soooo many to choose from!) We have already begun planning our next visit!
