This was my 2nd time at this location, and the chicken was great! I tried their version of a French 75, which was light and refreshing. I recommend checking out Another Broken Egg when you get a chance!

We had such an amazing breakfast experience today! We were attended by Amanda who was such a sweetheart and very attentive to whatever we needed. She was constantly checking in to make sure the food was up to par or if we needed any refills. She definitely earned 5 stars with her positive attitude and care. The food was very delicious as usual. We will definitely be coming back!

We had our first, and only visit back in June. Everything seemed to be going well, but we were put off after reviewing our receipt later. I intended to call about it after the weekend when they weren't as busy, but the receipt became misplaced. I actually found a picture I took of it while looking for photos of the food to add to this review.

I wanted to say how great our server had been, but a couple things threw that off. She was friendly and took the time to go over the menu as it was our first visit. After ordering, I asked about an offer we got to try the biscuit beignets and she responded she'd already ordered some for us and to save the email offer for next time. My wife had dietary restrictions related to pregnancy so we didn't really plan on ordering them this time since she couldn't have them anyway. Turns out, she charged us for them when she added them without us asking. I also ordered a spiked butter pecan cold brew, menu listed price as $9.49 and showed it had Makers Mark bourbon. Receipt showed the non-spiked version with shot of Captain Morgan added for an upcharge, which appeared to cost a bit more when done that way, by about $1. Not sure if the alcohol used was captain or not, but if it was put into the POS that way, I'd imagine that's what the bartender made. Not sure if that part is normal, but with both issues together, it put us off wanting to return, despite overall service and food being decent.

In the end, we did eat the beignets, so paying for them isn't a huge deal, but being charged when the server added them without us ordering isn't right. Maybe it was an oversight, maybe intentional. I'd hope the former. Mistakes do happen. The alcohol could have just been the way it gets entered, but I'd imagine there's an option for it as listed on the menu rather than done through modifiers that cost more.

Aside from that, it is quite loud inside when busy. I don't mind, but others might.

As of now, what amounts to $6 in added cost will likely keep us from returning. It may have been mistakes made while busy, but it feels like shady attempts to increase our bill. Happy to discuss if desired, maybe it would change our minds on returning.

One of my newly favorite brunch places. I love Amanda, she is so sweet, attentive, and her bubbly personality makes breakfast after a long night shift enjoyable and relaxing. Any time I go, I always look for Amanda!

Dietary restrictions: I don’t eat pork so an always get the chicken sausage. It’s really good and I love that it has a sweetness to it.
