AVA is exceptional. And for a jaded New Yorker like me, that's saying something. The haloumi mezze is particularly noteworthy for its perfect balance of salty and sweet—the preserved citrus is genius. And for mains, the sea bass can't be beat with its dill oil, bouillabaisse sauce, and elegant fennel. The best innovation may be serving warm oat milk with the coffee (and do not skip the lavender olive oil cake). Why doesn't every restaurant serve heated cream? In addition, the service was outstanding; Cody was attentive and recommended a better wine than the two we'd picked out. And the rest of the staff—those who cleared our plates or refreshed our water—was quick and warm. Our only gripe is the "operations charge" of 20%. The menu already out-prices other high-end Winter Park establishments like Prato, so an additional 20% put us in the awkward position of deciding if we wanted to add even more to reward Cody for his great service. As a regular at Michelin restaurants in New York, an operations charge stateside is a first for me.

I would definitely recommend Ava to others looking for a memorable dining experience. We ordered multiple things, from the salt crusted Branzino, Snapper, Lobster pasta to shareable sides. Everything was perfectly flavored. The table side preparation and presentation of the salted Branzino was a nice touch. Wendy and Gabby were our waitress team and they amplified the experience with their attentive service. All in all it was worth it and I will definitely come back the next time I am in town.

I happened to be there on a romantic date and it is the perfect place to set the mood. The staff is very in tune with the vibe and the food was outstanding. It is expensive so be ready to drop some $.

Amazing 5 star experience, ambiance was on point as well as service and attention to detail. Perfect for special occasions. Compliments to the chef and whole team at Ava. Dom and Yuda took great care of us & as a guest I could really feel the collaboration of the entire team as they all worked together to make everything so seemlessly enjoyable. 10/10

I made a reservation at AVA MediterrAegean through OpenTable and redeemed a $40 Dining Reward Card. The reward was correctly linked to my reservation and the app clearly stated that I just needed to show the card to my server during my visit. When I arrived, I informed the staff from the beginning that I had an OpenTable Reward Card and wanted to use it. At first, there was no indication that this would be a problem. However, when it was time to pay, I was told that they would not accept the Reward Card.m a part of the payment. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable, especially because I followed all the instructions provided by OpenTable and chose this restaurant specifically to use my reward. The situation shows a lack of alignment between the restaurant and OpenTable's Dining Rewards program. The food and ambiance were good, but not honoring an official OpenTable reward that appears directly on the reservation had a negative impact on my experience. I hope OpenTable and the restaurant review this issue so that other guests do not go through the same situation.

Joshua C. was a wonderful waiter—very attentive and brought great energy to the table. His recommendations were spot on. I ordered the lobster pasta (definitely recommend), and the meatballs were perfectly herby. The hanger steak also stood out and really delivered that Mediterranean flavor. All of the sauces were incredibly flavorful. The presentation, atmosphere, and overall vibe were a 10/10. One tip: bring a jacket—it gets a little chilly inside.

We had the pleasure to celebrate our wedding at Ava! And yes , it was better than expected! The team made everyone feel comfortable and welcomed! It was so smooth for me to have such an amazing team taking care of everyone.
Food was amazing, the drinks were spectacular. the bartenders, the servers and the manager Kristian were great!

It was a great experience. The food was fresh, thoughtful, and otherworldly. It felt like a unique restaurant experience- that you can tell-had a lot of heart and consideration put into it. The food was the perfect serving size as I felt leaving full, not stuffed, and highly satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone I know looking for a delicious and unique date night. Pierina was our server and she was highly attentive! She helped us find our perfect four-course dining experience.
