I recently dined at AVA in Winter Park and have mixed feelings about the experience. The food was absolutely fantastic—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. However, the service left a lot to be desired. We experienced long waits between interactions with our server, and at times it felt like we were completely forgotten. Getting refills or even placing additional orders took much longer than expected. It really affected the overall flow of the evening. I would return for the food, but I sincerely hope they improve the speed and attentiveness of their service. A place with such great cuisine deserves a front-of-house team to match.

It was good but not great. Food was good it just didn't blow me away. The octopus I had was very good. Some other dishes seemed to be over salted. Service was excellent. I can see why others like it but for me at over $300 for 4 people with only two drinks at table it was overpriced. They were kind enough to tell me the 20% tip was already included.

The atmosphere is just lovely. The beautiful bougainvillea throughout add such great color. The seating invites you to sit and relax. We did not feel rushed and our waiter was helpful and professional. The food was excellent. I had the Greek omelet which was moist and flavorful with a variety of mushrooms in it. My husband had the grilled octopus which was tasty and tender. Great experience!

Everything about our night here was perfect. The food was incredible — you can tell they put a lot of care into every dish. The cocktails were amazing too, super well balanced and honestly some of the best we've had in a while.
