Blu has an excellent and varied menu, with heavy emphasis on seafood and sushi. One can eat well and relatively inexpensively if one orders creatively, though overall it is not an inexpensive restaurant. Food quality is consistently good. Drink menu is extensive. Service is hit or miss.

The softshell crab sandwich was very fishy, had to return it . The blackened mahi tacos were overcooked and very salty and spicy.

Went for Bite 30. I had the conch fritters, sea bass tacos, and tollhouse pie for dessert. The meal was great with good portions. Sat at the bar. Lindsay did an outstanding job especially since she was the only bartender for the entire restaurant. Staff and patrons were friendly. Nice ambiance. I will be back.

The food was great and they respected our wishes for a quiet birthday celebration. However my two biggest reason for not giving a five star review if that entrees took forever to arrive and that there were flies buzzing around everywhere

In the past I have come to this restaurant frequently and it was exceptional. I recently visited this past weekend and I couldn't believe it was the same place. The hostess looked like she just rolled out of bed. There were only 1 or 2 servers running around the whole place. Our drinks were not refilled and we were there for almost an hour and a half. Then when we were leaving our bill was overcharged and had to be corrected. Overall it was not a great experience.
Stopped for an early dinner, conveniently during Happy Hour. Juan took great care of us... Blu Manhattan for me, HH Old Fashioned for my husband. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious, crab cake was well prepared (ate one, brought one home), my husband ate all of his Blu Burger and truffle fries, and we brought carrot cake and peanut butter pie home for dessert.

Noticed a complete difference in how the regulars were treated compared to a new customer. Everyone else was offered complimentary bread and oil. The bartender never even offered. They took the time to chat and be personable with regular patrons. Sushi was nothing to brag about and not a normal size portion, but much smaller. Overall not impressed at all. Would not recommend for the price.
