Dinner entree portion was the size of an app. Went home and made myself another dinner. Awful experience, and on Christmas Eve no less.

My wife and I came home from an afternoon show of the Nutcracker at Phillips Center. We fed the dogs after and went to dinner at Bovine for a nice meal. I should have known on Saturday evening and the place 80 percent empty it would be bad. The food was absolutely terrible possibly on the par of Outback???? Only 5 times the price. The Chef here would be better suited to push a lawnmower rather than prepare anyone's food. The Chef here is NOT qualified to be the fry cook at McDonald's. The waitress was a Pancake House reject not qualified to bus tables in an upscale restaurant. Our evening was capped with the nastiest cup of coffee you've ever had. Save your money and don't eat here. A happy meal is a far superior choice

My companion and I arrived on time and were seated immediately. My companion did not care for the table location (near the kitchen door) so we requested another table and were moved to a booth nearby. We selected a wonderful Merlot from Napa Valley. The winemaker adds a personal touch by dipping his hand into paint and leaving his hand print on the bottle. The bread basket was delicious with room temperature butter to spread. I ordered a shrimp cocktail with three huge shrimp. I ate only two of them. We both ordered the bone in ribeye stead. Sides: creamed spinach and scalloped potatoes. All cooked perfectly and tasty beyond our expectations. To add to this very pleasant evening, Molly, our server, was the perfect hostess. I could not eat all my steak and the sides and neither did my dining companion. She and I both asked for boxes to take the leftovers with us (a rarity for me).I presented the last of the shrimp to Molly. My next day lunch was just as special as the dinner in the dining room the evening before. There are gems of dining in Orlando. This is one of them.

We went with a larger party. The service was nice and efficient. The atmosphere was ok but the space felt tight. I think it was just due to the layout of the restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon and it tasted great. Everything else like the apps, sides, and dessert were very underwhelming. The chocolate bread pudding was so dry it had the feeling of eating a day old cinnamon bun from the grocery store without the icing. Very unsatisfying finish but the star of the meal was the star.

We had dinner on Thanksgiving here, and I cannot say anything good about this restaurant. We dine out often, and this was one of the worst experiences. Although my husband enjoyed his pre-fixe Turkey Dinner, I ordered the prime rib which was pre-fixe and my prime rib which was medium raw was served over everything else on the plate which of course made the side dishes inedible half of my plate remaining and the waiter never asked how the meal was, they ran out of pumpkin pie and just substituted with a pecan pie, i don't eat nuts, what if i was allergic to nuts? Initially my husband ordered a draft beer and the waiter brought a bottle beer already opened and started pouring before even advising they were out of draft beer. I ordered club soda with lime, not what i got or charged for.

Filet was flavorless and room temp.
Lobster ravioli was bine dry. Odd.

One hour later I had to go to bar and order a second round for my wife. The bartender said, "ok" and then had a 5 min conversation before anything happened.
We ordered three entrees one came out cold, two, warmed enough to eat since we had invested so much time and needed to feed our kid.
Overall, terrible experience. Awful execution on the cocktails. Food, thumbs down. Kind server but not nearly kind enough to make up for a bad evening.

Great food. Great service. I don’t understand why they don’t have better ratings. Jeremy was very attentive to us. We were a party of 5 on Thanksgiving night. They were pretty busy and still we had a great experience. Will definitely come again.
Fabulous service. Aaron was our server and he took great care of us. From conversations about different bourbons to our dogs, he is an amazing server and showcased his amazing talent of making drinks. And the thing is he enjoys his work and loves taking care of his customers. Very professional, welcoming, and friendly. Tony was present as well and is just as welcoming and friendly. Nate made our meal which we thanked him repeatedly for because it was late. The dry aged steak was phenomenal. So tender, so delicious. Nate cooked it to perfection. We could tell these men enjoy their job and are passionate about their performance and work ethic. So I say well done. Thank you. Dorothy and Josh

The food was delicious, the steak was perfectly cooked and the salad very fresh. Their in house made Caesar dressing was incredible. Our waitress, Vanessa, was incredibly sweet and attentive.

Service was just ok. Seemed like it was a rough night for our server, but many different issues with our table. Not sure if it was a server issue, kitchen or both were having issues that night, but left our party of 10 with much to be desired from our experience. The food that was correct was excellent and the server did try and make things right after the fact which we all appreciated, but doesn't mean the issues should have happened, Especially for the caliber and cost of this restaurant.

want to thank you for assisting in the reservation. For the most part the experience was pleasant and our server was spot on. However service was a bit slow, I’m not sure if you had staffing issues this Saturday. Additionally I’d like to note that the host Philippe was not hospitable to the group. Upon arrival, he returned after seating guests, but when I checked in under our reservation he simply pointed to the back and said you guys are right there. And when I said excuse me? He said “yeah you are there” pointed and looked down as 13 of us walked to our seats. Immediately after we sat we saw him walking other patrons to their tables. I think that’s a bit distasteful but would like to make sure someone was aware.
We will return at some point but I hope the host is better equipped to do the job that is required. Hoping dinner is not 3 hours long next time either
