Great ambience, delicious food, just a little saltier than personally preferred.

This was a suggestion by someone else that frequently goes here. I was not disappointed. It is limited on space but service was quick. Pancakes are a feature item! They have a signature drink menu but you can't customize or substitute. A downside is they were out of both drinks I wanted so I opted for the pomegranate bellini, it was ok. Being that its in Winter Park it is on the higher end of prices per item. I had leftovers which eased the cost. Will return

What a great spot, stopped in for brunch, the line moved quickly, staff could not have been nicer. Our waitress, Jessica was excellent, she gave great descriptions of each item and described them to a T. I definitely recommend the French toast with fresh fruit and the coffee was the best too. Can’t wait to go back.

We went there for dinner and then 2 days later came back with our granddaughter for breakfast. We had dinner on the patio and we had breakfast inside the restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent both times. This is going to be a good spot whenever we're in the Orlando area.

Terrible experience! The hostess that manages the tables was so rude and condescending that our party was insulted ao much that we decided to leave even though it was our turn for a table

Actually great food. But an $8 cappuccino is something I have never seen before.

This was the worse experience I've had. I was inviting 7 people as I heard a lot if recommendation to go there. We arrived, we sat outside, the host was so rude and has bad attitude, she was talking with very sharp tone. the tables were dirty and had black greasy dirts, when I asked the host to have these tables cleaned. the host said these are stains and don't go, the tables need to be cleaned. I put little more effort with my finger and the stain was removed. What ever we asked, she was so sharp to do anything for us. I would call this racism as we are from different religion. She never had any eye contact with us. Talking with her hands in the air in our face. Out waiter was so respectful and quick with everything we need. I was so embarrassed in front of my guests with this bad experience. All people should be welcomed regardless of their ethnicity or religion. I don't recommend this place and I don't think that I will go there again.

The food here is outrageously overpriced and the service is absolutely terrible. Our waiter was so casual and bad at his job it made the whole meal awkward, the hostesses were rude to us when seating us and my family that came from out of town, telling us we couldn’t rearrange the chairs to be more comfortable, and then being very rude in her delivery. She said we had to sit exactly as she placed the seats. At the end of the meal the server came straight up to my cousin and just gave him the bill expecting him to pay, not even asking us if we were ready or setting it on the table for us all to decide who was going to pay. It was super awkward and when I protested and asked if we could split it the waiter was like “I’m lazy, if he’s offering to pay the whole thing just let him bc I don’t want to split up the bill” I was honestly taken aback. Ive worked in the service industry for years and that’s fireable behavior. I’ve never had service so horrible and unprofessional. The hallway to the bathroom smells like vomit and old food. It smells like an alleyway or a subway station. It was an awful experience. The whole restaurant smells dirty. Don’t go here.

Brunch at Briarpatch. There isn’t a better place to have breakfast at Winter Park than Briarpatch. My wife and I have been coming here for the last 4 years and they never disappoint. The California Benedict is a superb example of quality, creativity, and texture. Their chipotle hollandaise sauce and infused cherry tomatoes is really what makes this dish an outlier.

However, although their food quality is amazing, their beverage menu could use some improvement. $10 for an unflavored iced latte + an additional charge for oatmilk seems overpriced. The coffee flavor is not out of this world nor does it evoke anything special. Your food (which is the highlight of this place) will taste as good paired with water.

Service is 6/5.
