Very disappointed. Was excited to try this and service and food were not good. Hopefully it gets better with time.

Good location with adequate parking and a very nice setting. Also, the staff is very friendly and nice. Real old-school white take away boxes with red Chinese symbols. As for the food (sigh): not so good. Greater Orlando has picked up its restaurant game big-time. We now have dozens of exciting new and excellent restaurants to choose from as our local pallet matures. I was very hopeful that Chuan Fu would fill the void. Nope. We seem to suffer a lack of high-quality reliable Chinese restaurants. Which is kind of crazy because there are some very successful Chinese entrepreneurs who run restaurants in Orlando, but few that I have found offer legit Chinese food! Food details: The Sesame chicken is a pass unless you are carb loading for a boxing match or marathon. They are flavorful, but remind me of deep-fried Duncan munchkins with peanut M&M-size, mostly fatty chicken pellets inside. Twice cooked pork, again, was flavorful... But the pork was thin, sliced like bacon and each piece was 75% fat. We simply could not eat it. Bok choy in garlic sauce was so drenched in gloppy sauce that it was limp and difficult to eat. Finally, an old standard shrimp fried-rice was sub.sub-subpar. Tiny tiny shrimp like you would find in the frozen section at the supermarket had no flavor. The rice itself was not savory delicious in any sense of the word. We are not haters. We want Chan Fu to be our local Chinese place. We love good Chinese food. Ownership of the restaurant should treat this as a challenge to pick up the quality of the food. You have a beautiful space with great parking in a great neighborhood. You have lovely and friendly staff. Bring up the quality of your food and enjoy decades of success as you become a local favorite. You can do this!

REALLY tasty food! Some items on the menu are way too spicy for me, so I had to be careful with what I ordered. The others in my group were ok with spicy. The waiter was super sweet and helpful with the menu items. Everything came out hot and fresh. I took an order of the Cured pork fried rice home. The Chongqing Fried noodles (chow mein in my world!!) was the most delicious chow mein I've probably ever eaten. The fried rice was excellent as well. Our group also had stirfried pea shoots, cumin beef, and Shrimp & Ribs hot pot. Let's just say everyone raved about all of their entrées!! Even the pickled radishes that they served ahead of the meal were really good! The restaurant itself was kind of hidden away in a new shopping area that also had a few other restaurants. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the spice! We mostly got foods that only had 1-2 pepper symbols next to it, and they were a comfortable spice (although it was a bit spicy initially). After you get used to it, the flavoring of it all is super delicious and the veggies soaked it up nicely. We came in right before dinner rush, but the service was still pretty quick even though they were busy. The design of the restaurant is really pretty and nice to look at, and there's plenty of parking where the restaurant is located (which is nice since it's Winter Park)

Fantastic hot n sour soup and even better Ma-Po tofu- absolutely delicious, very professional and friendly service, a classy, relaxing dining room, ice cold beer... what more could you want? Chuan Fu is a welcome, high quality, authentic, and much-needed addition to the fantastic food community in Winter Park! Check them out!

Food was absolutely delicious but service needs attention. Food comes out as cooked not as ordered. So appetizers come out last food first. If they get this under control it will merit 5 stars !

food was amazing. Can't wait to re visit with family. The night we dined in there was unfortunately only one server making it difficult for him to handle the whole dining room, he was trying his best.

Chaun Fu is a relatively new restaurant in the Orlando food scene. With a mention in the Michelin guide, who wouldn't want to give this place a try?! My friends and I all got together last night to celebrate a friend's promotion at Chaun Fu with empty stomachs and high hopes for remarkable food. I called in advance to make a reservation to ensure they could accommodate us. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and taken to our table. The inside of the restaurant was extremely clean with minimalist decor. The restaurant wasn't overly busy, but there seemed to be only one waiter. Despite serving numerous parties, he was still extremely quick in taking and bringing our food and drink orders. The food here is brought out as soon as it's ready, rather than the whole table being served around the same time. This is great if you come with a group that's willing to share and sample all of the food, but it can be a bit awkward if you don't intend to share, as there can be a timing gap between dishes. That being said, the benefit of this is that everything comes out extremely hot. In terms of food, the potstickers, Sichuan wontons, and Chaunfu-style fried noodles proved to be the favorites at the table. We ordered several other dishes, including General Tso's chicken, lemon chicken, and sweet and sour spare ribs. While these items were by no means horrible, there was a substantial lack of quality in the chicken dishes. Unfortunately, I just wasn't wowed by anything I ate here, and I wish that wasn't the case. However, the menu is extremely diverse. Therefore, there is a chance that if we had been more adventurous with our ordering, we could have found something that met our expectations. While this visit may have missed the mark for me, I definitely think there's plenty of potential here if you're open to trying more unique dishes!

Service was fair. Brought out three entrees but left the 4th one out for ten minutes before bringing it out. Fried rice looked like white rice. General Tso chicken was average, no flavor. Kung Pao was good according to my guest. Restaurant noise level was nice, good for conversation. Not sure I will be back.

Great adventure for a family birthday celebration. The wait staff is informative & entertaining - we particularly enjoyed the description of the specific area of China the cuisine originates from...and the two different types of peppers used: one spicy & one numbing (I kid you not - ya' gotta try it!!) It's wrapped up with the traditional gelatin dessert, featuring four different flavors (they said it's as popular at home as ice cream is for us). Like I said, it was a birthday adventure!

This is a relatively new place. Clean place. Our wait staff are a friendly and knowledgeable as to the menu. Ordered the spicy beef noodle soup. Spiced well and it was spicy. The prawns was not spicy but sweet. When looking at their menu, 2 things that stood out- ether spicy or sweet.

Best Sichuan food in Orlando. Chuan Lu Garden was my favorite (sister restaurant). It is overpriced, and the service is rough. It's worth it if you want the head to sweat and have all the flavors. Worth checking out if you like the good stuff.
