The place is beautiful. It was pretty empty for a Saturday which we thought was strange. The food was amazing! The fried avocados are a must! Southern Comfort tacos were delish. However, the drinks were overpriced and small and served in skinny glasses, maybe 10 ounces, so that was disappointing. I know its Winter Park but the drinks are really the only reason we wouldn't come back. Its a Mexican restaurant! We want huge margaritas!!
Mehhh, leaves a lot to desire considering location within Downtown Winter Park. Poor quality food.

My wife and I visited Cocina 214 in Winter Park for the first time on Jan. 9. 2026, and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, and the service matched the quality of the meal. Our waiter, Cesar, was exceptionally attentive throughout the evening, checking on us regularly without being intrusive. He also caught that my wifeâs dish included jalapeños and quickly stepped in to adjust the order when he realized she had missed that detail on the menu, which she really appreciated! I ordered the Viva Mexico plate, which was delicious, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Excellent sangria, too! Overall, this was a great first experience, and we look forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

Concina 214 has a very unique dining concept. Get seated immediately, receive a glass of water, and then enjoy 15 minutes of staff pretending youâre not there. To make it even better, a party of 4â5 was seated after us and a server greeted them within minutes. So clearly service was happening, just not for our table. We eventually went to the bar to ask if we could order food there. The bartender said yes, kept making drinks, didnât offer water or a drink, and never came back to take our order. We left hungry, but at least we didnât have to wait for the check since no one ever took our order.
I would have added pictures but considering all I got was a water, Iâm sure everyone can use their imagination.

I went to this restaurant last Friday with my coworkers, and the experience was honestly terrible. We asked the manager if we could change our table, and he refused without giving us any real explanation. That already started the night off on the wrong foot.
Our serverâs attitude made everything worse. She barely checked on us, didnât care if we needed anything, and made us feel completely ignored the whole time. Super unprofessional.
On top of all that, the food was not good at all. The flavors were off, the dishes felt rushed, and honestly there are way better restaurants in the area that take pride in their service and quality.
Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. I wouldnât recommend this place, and I definitely wonât be going back.

Terrible experience! We were a group of 15 with a confirmed reservation, yet Humberto, the so-called âmanager,â was unable to seat us together. Instead, we were split into different tables, completely defeating the purpose of coming as a group. Very poor organization and zero effort to accommodate us. On top of that, our server was rude the entire time. When I asked for the check, she was extremely disrespectful. They donât even deserve one star.
Humberto the manager was extremely rude, unprofessional and agumentative. As a business owner you should strive to acomodate the customer and here you will not find that. We had a reservation for a large party and they were unwilling to acomodate us properly even with empty tables and having us wait.
Here the manager is always right and you are the garbage customer that follows.
Also food was okay at best.
Overpriced bland food with rude service. You can expect me to never come back.

We came here for a special reunion with 15 people and the experience was honestly heartbreaking. Even with a reservation, they split us into separate tables and refused to help us sit together. The manager, Humberto, was rude and dismissive, which made everything feel worse.
Drinks came warm, food came late, and nothing arrived at the same time. What was supposed to be a fun night turned into pure frustration.

We chose this restaurant for a group reunion and made a reservation for 15 people, expecting to enjoy a nice evening together. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived.
Despite our confirmed reservation, we were seated at separate tables that did not fit our group. We politely asked to be moved to a table where all 15 of us could sit together, but the staff refused. We even spoke with the manager, Humberto, who was surprisingly rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to accommodate us, he simply said no.
As customers, we expect at least basic courtesy and an effort to resolve issues, not to be treated as an inconvenience.
To make matters worse, the service was just as bad. Our drinks arrived late and warm, and the food came out very delayed and not at the same time, leaving some of us waiting while others were already eating. For a planned group dinner, this completely ruined the experience.
If we could give this restaurant zero stars, we would. Sadly, it seems they prefer to collect 15 well-deserved 1 star reviews rather than provide proper customer service.
We will definitely not be returning.

Had a reservation for 8. Showed up and got sat at our time. Then proceeded to wait over 10 minutes before the manager came by and asked if we had been helped yet. We ordered a chorizo queso, and got queso without chorizo, which was eventually brought to us by the manager. A member of our party also had ordered a labeled vegan item, which came with a non-vegan saude on it. Otherwise, the food was good, but the quality was dragged down by the quality of service. When we got our checks, someone for our party noticed they were charged twice for guac despite only one being ordered. When they brought it to the attention of the server, he proceeded to argue with her that she did order two, which she did not. Then when he took our payment, he ran one of our party memberâs card twice, once for that personâs check and somebody else's. But the issues didnât end there. It all made sense when we saw the automatic 20% gratuity. Automatic gratuity is fine, but not at 20%. Unfortunately, we did not get the name of the server as he didnât say when he reluctantly greeted us and we didnât grab it off the checks. But he was grossly incompetent and did not care to even try to do his job properly. Manager on the other hand was excellent and clearly trying his best to make sure things were running smoothly.
