“Drove 30 minutes out to this place on a whim…only to have a SPIRITUAL experience eating my first NewYoRican Style chopped cheese. The meat, cheese, and veggie ratio, complimented by the kick of the pickles will live on in my mind for the rest of the week until I inevitably come back to relive the experience (preferably in the next 24 hours)
Eric was so kind, appreciative, and clearly knows what he’s doing with that grill. The shop was clean, full of art, and incredible music. I couldn’t ask for a better time.
You’re only cheating yourself by denying yourself the Orlando City Deli experience if you haven’t had it yet!!“

“All I can say is “WOW!! Had the most amazing Ruben sandwich ever! I’m very picky about my deli sandwiches because I don’t care for fatty anything. My Ruben was 100% lean meat, sauerkraut and dressing. The potato salad was incredible and the pickles were delicious! My husband had the Italian panini, and couldn’t say enough great things about it! JJ was our waitress and she made sure we were well taken care of. Glen, the manager, stopped by to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. There was so much food and we gladly took home our leftovers!! Overall, an outstanding meal and we will definitely be back soon! Thanks Pickles, for a memorable meal! You made a good day great!“

“Was looking for a different address and somehow wound up back here and was a bit hungry. So here I walk into this quaint, out of the way deli. What I found was a good selection of sandwiches and other items. I chose the Italian 6" sub. My go to when trying a new deli. What I got was a perfectly toasted, well packed, delicious sandwich! Service was very, very....dare I say, old school customer service!!! Prices were on par with today's pricing. Place was super clean! Will be returning, although on purpose!“
“Super pleasant staff! The wheat bread is the BEST I've had in forever - so fresh and so good. Egg salad was just right! Highly recommend and looking forward to trying other sandwiches! I missed the cut-off for the (breakfast) egg sandwiches - I will be back to try - and looking forward to it.“
